For now i just can test it with the pc, but i´m amazed with the sound!!! very good, i thingk its better than my hpm-60´s !!! |

you can't use any bluetooth headset to listen to the radio on the phone since the radio on the phone needs the wired headset to be plugged in and  have not provided a way of overriding which headset gets the sound

O-k, here is my mini-review:
Music Sound Quality: The overall sound quality is pretty good. I would say definitely better than the HPM-70. Of course it depends a lot on the source also. I found my M600i wasn't the greatest quality audio source. Audio from my PC sounded very good on the DS970. I tested mostly using AAC files. Also, the bass is pretty decent. I didn’t have a chance to try playing games on my PC with the DS970 but I really wanted too. I think they would have worked very well for that.
Call Sound Quality: The call sound quality was o-k. I think I still prefer my HBH-662 though. But, it is still better than the HPM-70 which I found to sound pretty strange for calls. Voice commands seemed to work pretty well also.
Controls: The controls on the unit are pretty decent overall. I found it pretty difficult to use the on/off button though. I understand that it shouldn’t be too easy to press the on/off button so you don't do it accidentally. But, I think making it flush with the case was sufficient. Putting the button next to the connector or the earphones/lanyard makes it too difficult to access. I would have preferred the button to be on the opposite/bottom end. The skip previous/forward button seemed a little flimsy to me. Other than that, the controls were o-k.
Range: I found the range to be a little lacking. Definitely it doesn't work well out of line of site. So, you can pretty much forget about going into another room or behind any obstructions. Within the same room it's usually o-k within about 10 to 15 feet. Outside of that it's will start skipping frequently. Also, it depends on the source. My M600i out in the open was a good source. But, the USB Bluetooth 2.0 dongle on the back of my PC was pretty weak. I think the PC case was blocking a lot of the signal.
Connectivity: The connectivity was pretty good. I had no trouble pairing with my PC, M600i, or SLVR L7. Switching between sources and auto connecting when in range also worked well. The main complaint I have is that you can only have one "full duplex" device at a time - meaning only one device with playback and record (microphone capability). Usually you definitely want your phone for this so you can take calls. But, then that means you wouldn't be able to take calls on another phone or on your PC. And, you couldn't use the mic. for playing games on your PC in that case either which kind of sucks. The other thing is that most devices don't support the A2DP protocol. Like my SLVR L7, for example, which is a real shame. It would have been too cool to play protected AAC files using the iTunes player on the L7. Oh well.
Wearability: I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing this headset outside unless the cords were concealed under my jacket or something. Otherwise, they're pretty obtrusive. The earphones and lanyard are integrated and the cabling is pretty stiff and wide except very near the earphones. And, with the lanyard and earphones, that means you have basically 4 cords. It’s pretty ugly. So, I would say they’re best for home use unless concealed by a jacket or something.
Display: The display was o-k - nothing spectacular. It shows the name of the song being played. Other than that it’s pretty much just little status icons and the volume level when adjusting that. I didn’t try it with caller ID yet.
Miscellaneous: The only other comment I have is about the earphones being permanently attached. I think that was a big mistake. They definitely should have had a 3.5 mm jack for attaching the earphones. That way you could attach any headphones you want or replace the original ones easily if they broke. Strange they didn’t do this since the HPM-70 has this feature as did the old HBH-200 mono Bluetooth (hang from around the neck) handsfree.
