I do love the TouchWiz and it is better than all the launchers I've tried so far. I've no issue with my GS2. Have flashed JPKJ2 2.3.5 ROM and rooted it. I'm really happy with the upgrade from SGS1 which is also a good phone but this SGSII is very very very fast & super smooth. What a wonderful device it is.
Anyways, I just made this UTG (USB On-the-Go) Host connection by for my SGSII at home and it is working excellent. USB mouse experience is very good.

My firmware is 2.3.4
It keeps randomly opening the voice control app (thing that opens when you double press home)
Steering wheel icon also appears in top left corner :/ USB port issues it seems

Don't do it mate.Take a break from purchasing new phones for the time been.
All the phones you've had (and you've had some kickass phones) just needed a bit of modding, tweaking, customizing ect and you would have been happy with them.
I think until you've educated yourself in a bit of the XDA good stuff, restrain yourself.
The phones in the state they are released by the manufacturer are never going to please you (none have ever pleased me).
Ive always had to slightly alter them to satify my needs.
Once you learn how to flash using Recovery you cant get bored with an Android phone.
Ask Tsepz and our journey with the X10.That phone wasnt top of the range and had its limits but we were able to get the most out of it and bear it for a whole year and a half with a smile on our face.Im suprised both our units managed that year and a half with what we put it through.I couldnt brick the bugger if I tried.Always came back to life.
This S2 just needed a rom with foundation based on stock, stripped of bloatware and a customised kernel and its perfect.
But if you get that beauty ^ ...enjoy it bud.Love it in white.

Its too expensive anyway at 599. I managed to manually update my Nexus S to 2.3.6 anyway. Ice Cream Sandwich is out for my phone but there are bugs so will leave it for now.
