( W910i having the same problem and it was fixed in the 039 release of FW! see http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=159522
3. NO, it's must be a bug, startup order, Start BT in K850i, start BT in DS-970, start BT in MBW-150 works better, so it's give me more stuttering problem if I have this startup order, start BT in K850i, start BT in MBW-150, start BT in DS-970.
4. NO, it's a well-known bug, the UI has performance problem then using MediaPlayer, reported all over the Internet, example http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=157121 If I listen on one track and try to send a SMS, it's give you a performance problem, try to see a picture (when listen to music) and use zoom, in/out, the music level increase then trying to zoom out.
"New" answer from SE.......
1. This is caused of incorrect placement of the fingers when taking pictures. Please see attached leaflet.
2. Expect this to be fixed in the next firmware update.
3. For some seconds you can have interruptions in the music of a HBH-DS970 or HBH-DS980 or HBH-DS200 or HBH-DS220 Bluetooth headset when you have a MBW-150 also connected to the same BT phone. This is due to limitations in the bandwidth of the Bluetooth radio link.
4. Performance for UI will be optimized for next firmware update.

Is there someone here with R1CA037 and after having this new firmware for some time suddenly experiencing Operation Failed bug either in SMS or MMS or Games/Application folder? |

@aremaboy
This has been mentioned a lot. You'll need to get it flashed at a service centre. Doing a master reset cures it for some, but I believe the problem will reappear.

I know that. What I mean is many people got Operation Failed with 029 f/w. But just curious, after with 037 f/w, does this bug likely happen? |

Ah, I see. From what I've read, if you had it on 029, it's not solved by flashing 037 via SEUS. It needs to be flashed by SE.

@mwarner
Could you please add this bug to R1CA029's bugs list?
- When turning on the phone in which MicroSD Card is inserted, the phone always asks to format the memory card.
This bug isn't solved yet on R1CA037.
Thanks.

That's not the case with all cards. This has been mentioned before and it seems that only one or two people had this problem. I've got a SanDisk 2GB microSD and have never had an issue like you mention.

With 037 I can't make Photos in low light condition and 1-2 metres distance. Every photo is darker than it was with 029.

I've just upgraded by S-E-Europe phone to 37, and all seems fine so far. BUT... the one thing that I'm absolutely delighted to see, is the option to 'Always Allow' Bluetooth audio devices, as that wasn't there before.
This means my Bluetooth car kit will connect and synchronise automatically now, instead of connecting and then asking me if it's allowed to synchronise every couple of minutes until I say yes.
Very happy about this

I'm on software 037 (ANZ) and have recently noticed that in the standby blacked-out screen (keypad locked) status, pressing either volume key shows the standby clock and status (ie missed calls and messages). Really useful, too bad it can't permanently display like K610i
ALso, certain Themes make the phone hang, eg. Firepin which has intensive animations.

Have just got the phone and first impression : awesome. Great UI, super fast camera, all-in-one multimedia device. However, I got twice reboots, inconsistent backlit strength, unable to delete songs from media player, and cannot run PhotoMate as it keeps shutting down by itself due to memory leakage. Also, I can't access Demo Tour as it says the file has been removed from the phone memory, which isn't. I just moved the video to M2, and then removed it back to the phone memory and suddenly it's not recognised anymore. Strange.
Ah, well, new firmwares will come, no need to get mad. Just enjoy this device.

re: back light
The brightness of the back light varies with the ambient light around you. There is a light sensor on the top left of the front of the phone. If you cover it the screen will go brighter.
The theory is you don't need full brightness on the screen in a dark room, but you do need full brightness in daylight.
I generally use my phone at 50% brightness anyway so this feature doesn't do anything for me:) |

I really don't know about that light sensor. Thanks for informing. |
