Yes, 2.8" and VGA, and it would be very strange if SE suddenly downgraded the latest prototype before final production model.
Current mobilephone: P1i and my now old K800i, and before that W800i, V800i, Z600i, and T310. Waiting for X10. |

P1 is 2.6 and its not only the size that counts, if the p5 has 2.8 VGA a bet it will look absolutly amazing!
And do check the pages earlier in this thread. You can see plenty pictures showing the Keyboard!

VGA and 2.8" display suggest that a high class processor is used, although i wonder whether paris uses OMAP 2430 or the new 34xx series. Btw the two CPU platforms are able to handle VGA and XGA resolution on the phone display.
As for the camera, i think the same camera module found in G900/C902 will be used - only with a better post processing trick. i we remember Samsung Soul has a miniscule 5mp sensor yet it was able to match N95'scamera quality - the secret lies within the fact that Samsung Camera engineers applied unique post processing on the module. so i won't be too prejudiced to say G900 has a mediocre camera as someone here suggest - there can still be miracle and it's up to the Sony imaging engineers to tweak the appropriate algorithm to make G900/C902 camera reach it's full potential.

Anyway, here's a definitely photoshopped version of that avatar. Levels adjusted to get a better view. It's clearly a "c" button to the right of the d-pad, but the rest?
if the right is "c" button then the left one parallel to it should definitely be the "back" button if i'm not mistaken
i think it's gonna be more like the "menu" button. putting a back button would be redundant. the right softkey now operates in lieu of that much like A200 phones. Beibei also would point out to this.

Anybody got any info on Shiho? Since there will probably not be much real info on Paris until its announcement I would really like to know if Shiho is close to announcement?
PK by any chance? I remember you saying you had two phones with you when you watched the Manu Game! |

Yup! menu button logical and gets rid of the cumbersome alt+shift

I wonder when Accelerometre/Motion Sensors will come to UIQ
I feel that this will come with UIQ4, but UIQ is one/two years away from now, and I know that the is preparing a UIQ4 flagship..
even thought this is my feel, I wish and hope bring Accelerometers/Motion Sensors to UIQ sooner than that...

lol what?
Even if you meant UIQ4, no it isnt. As per my understanding, its coming out either late this year (maybe sometime in December) or early next year. So not a year away. Besides, youve seen that SE have been making a UIQ3.3 phone already and thats just about to be announced right after, so it cant be that long till we see UIQ4 implemented. I think it will have accelerometer and some form of gesture control, I expect it to be a UI overhaul.

Very slim chance for a "UIQ4" this year.
Announcement to market time is much greater than 12 months now (infact its twice that in reality).Nokia is just releasing its FP2 devices.
UIQ doesnt have a single UIQ 3.3 device announced.
