P990 had a 2mpx cam with autofocus alright....but the pics come blurry. If you own a P990,you will know, that to get a picture right you have to take multiple shots to get atleast 1 focused.The video recording was good quality,untill SE made it impossible to have focus option in the video recording with their firmware.
P1 solved the autofocusing problem but it has green tint.
K series phones use cam modules made by Sony. But P series use cam modules made by some 3rd party manufacturers in taiwan and korea. |

Your phone icons shows a P990 but have you ever used it??? And if you have was it the first firmware??? Only initially I had problems with autofocus but with an update it was great... Also it's the quality of camera hardware that we wan't paris to have... If paris has a good camera hardware, then it can take good pics too... P990 also had a good camera hardware, almost as good as K750, only the camera software was not perfect...
Now to Paris, the back looks too simple... I would have preffered it Black though...

If you own a P990,and take pictures with it,do u post/talk about it in the P990 picture thread??Almost everyone in the P990 picture thread has ranted about the blurry images...even the new buyers of the phone like 'jojo' and 'tranced'.
P990 camera hardware is good but the software is totally bullshit..which makes the pics blurry.
Please dont make any fanboy reply to me.Any P990 user would agree that camera software in P990 was a disgrace and with the latest firmware,still is.Check the old P990 firmware threads for all the rants. |

I am not making any fanboy comments... I am just stating the facts... There is no need to get angry or get off-topic... I know how good or bad P990's camera is... I have taken some great shot with P990 and even of fast moving objects with just one try without any bluriness or something... If I don't post pics doesn't mean a thing about P990's camera...
If you still wanna say something just PM me...
Edit: By the way I am with you about about the P-seies not having the best overall cams...

I can just say P990 makes great pictures.
As for Pnext, minimalistic design is encouraging. The cruical are specs, right?? |

On his blog, Mizzle said that he had 'just beat' SE to showing off Paris.
From what I can remember, there were announcements last year on the 8th of May and I think the P1i, along with a couple of other phones, was announced around mid-may sometime, so I'm guessing the next announcement is a few weeks away.
