Sad news about Steve Irwin (of Crocodile Hunter fame), who died this morning while filming a documentary. A stingray apparently got him in the chest. RIP, cobber.

I just heard it on 5fm, i am sure all of our prayers will include his family.
Getting back to the issues at hand, the K800i(v?) seems to be the dream phone... the only flaw i ever heard of was the design, but even that in some peoples book (mine included) is not a law per se!

@ 786KBR, is Xilisoft a video converter or a video editor? I want something to make videos with, put together my scenes, add music and text and pictures....

Totally missed everything this weekend...Bafana Bafana, Springboks and M-Net's attempt at staging Survivor.
@786KBR: How did you find the show last night? I was watching Brazil thrash Argentina.

@ Francois, how about using Windows Movie Maker and then convert the video to 3gp.I haven't done this myself but l think it's possible.

Crying shame about Steve. May God be with his family, now more than ever.
You guys are really confusing me now. Do get the k800 or the w810?
The k800 is nice (as internal workings go), but I don't feel that it's the phone I want. The w810 definitely feels like my kind of phone. But now with all these rave reviews....
what to do....

Having seen Steve Irwin on Oprah some years my initial thoughts was that the guy was nuts...seriously though who goes into the habitat of such a dangerous reptile...the only people I know who've done more crazier things are Zimbabwean refugees hoping to come into South Africa via the crocodile infested Limpopo.

@Siosal,go for the w810 bro simply because it feels like your kinda phone.Too many good reviews out there but rember this, what feels good for me might not feel good for you.Take me for e.g.I'm currently on P800,I want to change it but I'm awaiting the w950 because I know that l won't regret buying it and there's so many phones available right now that I can choose from, but Hey I want the w950.So l need to wait till it's released.Simply because it feels like my kinda phone!I hope this helps you choose the right one Bro!

@jmash
you speak the truth. The w810 really does suit my personality more than the k800. I'll stick with my initial decision.
Thanks. |

I like the design of the K800, just the right amount of silver with black, rather sexy although I like the brown just as much maybe more...
@ Francois yeah xilisoft is a 3gp video converter, Im not sure about editing videos...
I taught the Argentines had alot of bad luck there... Shame.
But Survivor SA was good i liked it although the challenges looked more like team building recordings!
But decent, no real people or issues to talk about very general first episode.
I do feel they were spoilt alot more, they got fire and building supplies, fishing utensils, water blankets and this one chick had a pair of binoculars?? I dont know, but they should made it a little more hardcore, I think. But we'll see! |
