K800i or W810i - time for an upgrade! |

At the end of the September my contract will run out on my W800i, so I will be looking to upgrade my phone. Either with a new contract or by doing a straight upgrade (not sure which one is best).
To be honest, the only phone's that have caught my eye are the W810i and the K800i. I am not sure if the W810i is to small an upgrade from the W800i though, and people seem to be having a lot of problem's with the K800i at the moment. The fact that the K800i take's M2 card's and I already have a 1gb memory stick duo card is a bit of an annoyance to me as well, but I might upgrade to a 2gb card anyway.
So can anyone give me any advice on which phone would be best for me? Feel free to recomend other phone's as well, as I am open to everything. Also, does anyone know any good contract's (preferably on Orange) as all this animal stuff is confusing me...
Thanks for taking the time read this, I appreciate it!

W800 to 810 is an insignificant upgrade. It would be wise if you just wait for a couple of weeks for the W850. It'll be a major upgrade.
As for now, the other alternatives are Samsung D900, which is spectacular. |

If you really like the w810 and memory is top priority for you, then go for it. K800 is working with M2 memory sticks and AFAIK there are only 1GB cards ATM. Now, I tell you that all those bugs you hear from k800 are minor and I haven't found any bug keeping me from using it. If your priority is the camera, the k800 is sweet for pictures. is up to you man, both phones are hot, but I like the w810's desing a little more. Besides, bare in mind that w810 has a keypad and k800 has a joystick. w810 is an EDGE quadband phone and k800 is a 3G triband phone. hope this helps.

The K800 is a much better phone than the W810. The media player is, however, slightly worse (no Megabass if that interests you) and MS Micro only supports up to 1GB at the moment, so the W810 is better if you need more storage right away. However, the much better screen, significantly better camera and improved UI more than make up for that in my opinion.
Personally I would either buy a K800 or Samsuing D900 if you didn't want the bulk of a smartphone. |

^ Agree...
Though of course if Walkman style is what you want, then they're what you should go for.

I've upgraded from w800i to w810i last week, and am regretting it already. Maybe its the orange branding, but the only think I like about the w810i is the actual outside of the phone. It looks nicer than the w800 - which I've got bored of now.
However thats it for me, everything else I prefer the w800! Its simple things like the standby clock, the mp3 player going straight to the mp3 rather than giving me the option to buy things.
I'm gonna try out the k800i I think, though I'm considering the w850 too. the only think I don't like about the k800 is the fact i'd have to pay an extra £20 to switch from stick due to the M2, and also its a lot bigger than any phone I've ever had. But the screen looks so damn hot! |

Out of the two phones K800i hands down. I had the W800 and now have the K800i and it is a much better phone with out a doubt!
