Chombos: PK may have a slightly different proto, too, so what the final colors are probably won't be known until the announcement, especially when the two photos are ambiguous at best.

i agree on that.
i still think that the keyboard will be All Black.... the Xellar pic shows it in full black.
but right ... everything can be changed before the annoncements.

Pop Lover: I agree a D-pad and a scroll wheel are probably redundant, but it may be nice to have both just so the user can use the device however he/she wishes. Also, given that all the other P-devices have had scroll wheels, it would be a nice thing to have so people who buy Paris feel comfortable with it.
Chombos: Xellar's pic definitely makes it look all-black. We shall see.

@pop lover
yes.... D-pad will compensate the lack of Jog-Dial
but scrolling s much easier with the jog-dial
i will go for the D-pad. |

As long as the specs hold up and SE doesn't forget the USA **cough*TriBand HSPA**cough**, then it will just rock my socks.
I wanted a P1i but lacking US 3G and being only Euro Triband made me look else where. Paris seems to be a N95/N96 killer if SE doesn't screw up. |

another thing
the front panel of the phone consist of end-accept calls and the D-Pad
but I think there is to much space between the screen and these keys
could be there a hidden keys?!! like touch sensitive or what? |

why can they put fast port on top or bottom it looks annoying, and never changing, Many people using w890i feel its annoying while holding on the phone with fastport connecter on side making it difficult.
heres one example of G900, with the phone being slimmer and fastport at side definately makes if difficult to

Which manufacturer in world puts it on side except for Se ,when will they provide usb support
 K700- W800- [W810]- W200-[ P990]=[Current]. One expert at esato that never lets u down technical-expert. |

D-pad is sensible especially when device is open,
It's easier to reach D-pad than Jog on one hand operation.
But Jog dial is superb....
P.S. I would definatley prefer double-colour keys!!

Really, really hope that:
1. There's a 3.5mm headphone jack instead of a fastport. SE's fastports KILL me. So annoying and so bulky to carry an adapter.
2. The keypad is all black. Two-tone keys would look so goofy. Younger buyers would laugh their heads off at this thing if it had striped keys.
I'm excited about this one. I just ordered an N82 because I'm tired of iPhone's meager imaging specs. I looked at K850, but it just didn't stack up. I'm hoping that P5 will make me sell the N82 in a few months' time. X1 is really nice, but more of a "business" than "fun" device, I think. I want the fun!

We can already see there is a fastport on the two new images. But you may be lucky and it may have a fastport as well as a 3.5mm jack.

If Xellar's pic is anything to go by, the keys are glossy black and reflect light a lot, thus why the look the way they do in Mizzle's pic. But PK's proto apparently is sliver/black, but it could be an "older" proto--plus you'd think they'd use the most up-to-date in their product video.
About business/fun: The X1 is business-like because it looks like a P1 and has WM, but the P5, while it looks less business-like, is in the P-series, yet it has better specs. So which is business and which is fun? Or are they both business and fun simultaneously? Not that it really matters, I guess. I'm getting the P5 regardless of what kind of person it's aimed toward. |

I already mentioned this as a guess, I think there's some thing similar to the touch walkman keys on W960i
