Hi guys,
Just updated my phone with ver 037 (ANZ), i'm from Malaysia.
Just to add to this thread:
1. The camera takes time to focus and charge the flash, therefore if a quick button press is used, the flash will discharge after the shutter clicks. Try pressing the button slower or use the on screen camera icon to take the photo automatically.
2. Battery meter/icon i find is inaccurate, the Phone Status (volume key pressed in standby mode) gives accurate reading. Also, unlike my previous K610i, the icon does not go to orange then red, just green to red direct.
3. No phone hanging/freeze so far... just irritating msg like "Application uses too much memory" when loading in built games!
4. "Missing" standby mode clock, where is it SE people?!

I've updated my phone yesterday via seus (greece) and i think 037 is a bit faster in media section and i can put a 5mp photo as background (029 couldn't). My only dark picture were with 029 at start about 3 times and then everything fine. I haven't try the camera yet. |

Can someone help me. It looks like that only me can't update, i tried several times today but still not success. I get message that software cannot be updated, not that i already have the latest software. On my unit i have flash bug and that is really annoying. For example, when i am shooting a same picture in the dark, once is good, really bright and second time it's black! Help please, i had many SE phones ()t630, k750, k800) and i know how to update software but this time i simply can't

Today it happened - my K850 refuses to open teh programs folder or the games folder. All i get is an operation failed message.
I have tried a master reset, and an upgrade to 037 via SEUS, but it doesn't help. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to return the phone?

if you have warrranty or "care plan" return it .... other wise the fix is a full
flash, either SE service center of davinci etc.

Just to confirm to all you s.e k850 fans. I met a s.e rep today and been advised that this monday the 10th december its official new software will be available to update on the k850i handset, which will fix all known bugs on the handset that is available so far.

Probably! I never really had the flash sync issue unless my fingers were kinda covering the flash. |

037 is a maintainance update, the major one will come soon. Not sure if it's the 10th or in January though.

I just upgraded mine to APAC-ANZ - R1CA037 too.
The Media indeed is better in response. But still when I leave the music running and try to SMS, it's lagged. Nothing compared to K800 previously still.
The camera flash does sync well for my case.
