I did. So far, no problems except for a few reboots.

i updated my previous green k850 to EA031 but unfortunately it was very unstable, and i had the unit exchanged by my carrier.

my new unit (blue) runs on the old CA037, very stable, but also very slow.

judging by the comments on this thread, many seem satisfied and happy with the new 037... would you recommend me to upgrade too?

its a pretty simple choice for me, ill stick with R1CA037 til a new firmware is out that is reboot/BROD free. Easy as that, doesnt matter how fast the new fw is, like someone mentioned before, a working phone is better than a dead one.

Uhm, I don't know exactly... but around a week.
It was repaired using kulankendi the same day it died.

I'm on my third K850. First one lasted almost 3 months! I updated via SEUS to the Orange UK firmware R1EC001 and then it BRODed about 2 weeks later. Phone was just in my pocket.
Rang Orange who said they'd never heard of the problem! Fortunately for me, because they hadn't heard of it, they sent me a replacement next day. Apparently if it is a known problem they don't send out replacements.
That one lasted 5 days - same thing - just sitting in my pocket. Same R1EC001 firmware.
Rang Orange again and a different bloke said "we have never heard of anything like that before." I never told him it was a well known issue. Received my replacement today, same firmware. I think I'm going off SE.
