Just cos the Samsung has a massive zoom it doesn't mean it is better. Some people know nothing

In terms of IQ.. and in most cases, yes it is, but if you really need to zoom in.. the gs4 zoom would be better.
17 months later, and still.. the 808 stands alone on top of the camera smartphone world... |

Well if Nokia started to make digital compact cameras along with the phones then a Nokia ZOOM would happen.
This "comparisons" are not equivalent to each other. |

The Nokia Zoom already happened.. its called the Nokia 808 PureView
Some videos from EDC in Las Vegas.. good times  The 808 is an amazing audio/video recording device.. I managed to record hours of HD video, and even when you run out of battery, just put a fresh on in.
The zoom comes in very handy as well.

What the EOS will also do is bring the 808's price further down.. I bet that after the announcement the 808 will dip below $350 on amazon |

^ EDM is the way to go
slimmer hump thanks to:
1. Slightly smaller sensor
2. Single capacitor for the xenon vs. 2 in the 808 (still more range on the 1020, newer tech)
3. Smaller xenon bulb (still better based on paper)
4. No loud speaker inside the camera hump

To celebrate the 1020, I pumped up the saturation to the max, and managed to get some good grain in the clouds..
