Nope PK... so far, everything has been disappointing.
Slider,Rocker keys, small 2.8" display,UIQ3.3 with primitive ui,Girly Korean design...so what was that in paris that amazed you??
@all,Is there absolutely anything in paris that the competition doesn't/will not have in q4??So far,n96 has more that what paris will be having minus the touchscreen. |

But im amazed with girly korean slider design, primitive ui and d-pad instead of rocker. At least it is my prefrence
To me rocker is a drawback instead or d-pad. its more efficient, egronomic and convinient, while rocker key is superior to scrolling up/down web page or document but not application friendly.

Many on this thread have expressed their disappointment in paris. Based on what? Mere speculation at best. Yes we have some hard facts. But for the most part we know very little concrete information. Yet many are so willing be disappointed! Some on this thread have seen paris. A select few have touched and used it. All of the above have stated that it will blow the competition away. Are these people so ignorant to not be aware of the n96? Or other comparative phones? I think not. Knowing the competition and still stating that paris will slay all others are big words not to be taken lightly. I say all the doubters should refrain from their disappointment until the official information is released. Personally i'm quite impressed with paris thus far. As far as screen size mone said 2.8 vga but the dpad area is still a mystery. Maybe the entire surface is a screen. But that lower portion becomes the dpad most of the time and then available for viewing for pictures and video? I'm probably wrong but would be cool

WOW! Another 5 megapixel handset... I doubt if it will be a competitor to Paris....

Well, it's also got a touchscreen... AND it's a slider (although lacking semi-QWERTY).
The main selling points of Paris, IMO.

That lg phone is no competition to paris. We are talking about UIQ here, not some simplified user interface.. this is symbian, the only competition would be if that LG phone had Windows Mobile on it, which i very much doubt. LG and Samsung phones are only meant for flashing around. Real utility phones come from Sony Ericsson and Nokia... |

Not really. In terms of video capture the Viewty outperforms any phone on the market. This LG is just a fashion version of the Samsung U900 its not meant to be heavy focused on imaging. 5Mp cam modules will be in loads of phones this year.

Yeah man you're right back on topic. LG isn't worth discussing in this thread anyway.
So when will we see some more new pics? or the video everyone's talkin about..?
