so the real competitor for that phone is going to be the 3G iphone (mossberg) is expected to be announced in 60 days
so there are going to be just a few days between the two annoucements - i just hope that Paris won't drown in the new iphones news - so i suggest that a pre annoucement is madatory to maximice the media reception |

Anyway, se-world.info lists Paris and Shiho with August release. As m-one expects it for September with P1i discontinuing from Sep 1st on, it seems to boil down to a week 35 release.  |

One of the new patent applications.
A system and method are provided for obtaining a gazing direction of a user of an image-capturing device relative to an image of an object to be captured; identifying an area of the image based on the obtained gazing direction; and performing optical focusing for the identified area using an autofocus arrangement of the image-capturing device.

wow thats looks pretty cool... altho how about including a manual focus option in the phones as well...so u can jus adjust it by the up / down arrows or something.... i think that would by quite handy and much easier for SE to implement.... coz sometimes auto focus cant quite focus on what u want exactly!!! |

I want SE to install two types of Autofocus on the next C-S phone: Infrared(passive) and sound wave(active) passive autofocus. no need for manual focusing if these two AFs were present

i was just playing around with paint....
considering that the deuxani's pic is an official one (which it seems to be)
just a size comparison:
if the screen is 2.8" then the lenght of the phone will be 9.5-10cm (based on comparison with the P990)
and that's exactly the number that mizzle said in his blog and we can see in the pics...
so i think screen is 2.8" .... and that is not small at all...!!!
