i reckon for the k850 i they could easily implement using firmware...they could use the camera shutter button when the switch is on media player to act as a play / pause button!!! ..... wish newer firmwares use that idea!!

Thats what I'm after, being able to play music by pressing one button while the keypad is locked without looking, which is the ease I became use to thanks to w800. Shame that nokia is a really ugly looking phone though.

There is a better way to control your music player
I have the MBW-150 watch (executive edition) and it's able to control the music player.

Changing loudness, skipping tracks, play and pause are very convenient and easy to handle. Even the track name is shown in the small and sharp OLED-Display.

Incoming calls and sms or mails are also shown on the display.
A nice feature as well is the distance warning that can be used to not forget the phone alone @ home

so remove Play/Pause Button to force us to buy such an expensive accessory Like your MBW-150 watch OR HBH-DS980

well i think u could use the SE HPM-82 headset...which has a play/pause and skip tracks button...altho it still comes down to SE ditchin such a useful button on the phone and forcing us to buy accessories to get back the feature!!!

Yeah but I would prefer it on the phone because the w890 is so small anyway. I think if a200 gets hacked then someone might add this feature.

sorry got a little carried away....i think it started off with whether new phones will have a dedicated play / pause buttons or something similar at least.... since its a greatly missed feature in many of the phones these days!!!

Yeah-something like that-anybody employed at reading this:
WE WANT OUR PLAY/PAUSE BUTTONS BACK!!
WE WANT OUR PLAY/PAUSE BUTTONS BACK!!
WE WANT OUR PLAY/PAUSE BUTTONS BACK!!
Okay-now that we've had our little protest- we can get back on topic:
WE WANT THE PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON ON PARIS!
WE WANT THE PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON ON PARIS!
WE WANT THE PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON ON PARIS!

(I know - I'll be quiet! )
