so let me get things right, there is a release of 037 with updates as 037 came out before 031 did it not ??
And what do these new Sony Ericsson phones look like they on there site ??
That phone looks sexy !! Nice and thin aswell, might have to be my second se phone

my R1DA038 has just died :/
2 hours ago another random reboot caused something very similar to BROD: when I tried to turn on my K850, it stopped at the moment when SE logo appeared on the screen - I tried to fix it by removing the battery and finally (after few trials) it turned on!
then I decided to do a master reset - the phone turned off and now when I try to turn it on, the only thing I see is: "PLEASE WAIT" and after few secs the screen turns black!
anybody had same prob?

when the please wait comes on, just leave it, that's the phone reconfiguring itself, same as it does after a complete reflash and when you turn it on for the first time, the please wait bar doesnt seem to move because its the same colour as the background. just leave it and it should be ok

hey, I had been waiting for half an hour, and then the screen became black... then I decided to wait for another few minutes and it was still black... then removed the batery for a while, then plugged the charger - and what I see now is that the phone starts charging and after few secs it freezes...
WTF?

Power OFF. Remove Batt, Remove M2 card. Unplug Charger. Wait 10mins. Ask yourself if your batt was fully charged before beginning procedure??
Plug back in BATT, Launch SEUS on PC.
Follow instructions for connecting into SEUS mode for firmware update. BE patient as possible, but DON"T plug out your battery without powering off your phone FIRST or plugging out the USB cable during completion of SEUS. Let us know if it worked/not.

luckily didn't have to reflash
the M2 card caused the problem - it needed a format 
now everything works fine  thought my K850 was dead again after all these 031 BRODs...

It's either mwarner is still waiting to post a proper update review on this 037 FW FIX as to detail and out line what it have fix or what it did not fix so we can understand actually, how stable is this FW FIX going to be because it is not really a new FW its a BROD solution |

Well he added the UK firmware as well.. and i guess this EA037 is bigger than the UK fw |

Added R1EA037 to the first post. As many of you know, I do not own a K850, having a Nokia N82 instead, so I must rely on Esato users to keep the information in the first post up to date. If you notice any changes to the software, PM me and I will try to add the additional information to the first post. I don;t check Esato too regularly any more, so please be patient if I do not get back to you quickly! |

have you seen any extra feature added from 031 in 037 besides speed improvements so far everything to be fine. i am just hoping that the next FW mizzle talk about really have the camera drive update to really make this product the FLAGSHIP by the way can you or any one else explain this light sensor to the front of the phone how effective it is or does it work any at all |
