How is it so far? Enjoying ICS? Think i read somewhere that there's already an update to Android 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 is already underway.

Hoping we get ICS January next year but chances are it will only come late Q1.

There is a leaked ICS update for SGSII on XDA. Have you checked it?

Thats a very early build of ICS, rather wait for a more stable and functional build.

Well you can give it a try and then revert to the stock gingerbread any time.

Yes it is but there is too much eye candy which maybe why it lagged or it might have been just me. The menus kept jerking

@Hobbs
Yep, a lovely bit of ICS for me! The S2 roms floating about are Sammys version with Touchwiz so no real point in them as you wont see any major difference in day to day use...
@Tsepz_GP
So far so good man, loving it! On stock 4.0.1 at the moment which is known to have issues, the volume bug and a little lag here and there. Gonna be rooting and putting a custom rom on this afternoon, that will be .2 based, but .3 will be available soon as some custom roms have elements of it incorporated - supposed to really improve the auto backlight setting.
Got the phone on O2 and the .2 update isnt available for me when it is for other sim free versions.
On the train up to see my parents for crimbo and listening to tunes on Google music over the network, sweet! Laptop with me so rooting time when i arrive![ This Message was edited by: Caspa on 2011-12-24 13:42 ] |

I thought all updates on ICS would be at the same time regardless of networks??
