Ohhh guys this new phone based on G700 and G900 platform … nice simple cheap just different style “slide”… no VGA, no autofocus
and this is not "P5" ... this one will come later

Hi can’t tell more but some thinks I “kicked” form him. First it’s shame about screen - not VGA. But phone now have “right” size (compare to P990i) slimmer and smaller. And main change been done on keyboard, hi hide it, but some very nice change totally different, compare with P990i. I guessing, it can be some type of slide.
Looks like P3i will be cool looking phone like P1i.

maybe paris=p3=p5
and etiher
a/it has bad screen
b/ it has goten upgraded (remember the hardware chnges?) and now has vga screen.

Plus, no AF would put it lower specced than the P1i.

if it has a lens cover (says mizzle) it's going to have autofocus.
anotherhardware change?
I'm geting confused... But remember what PK said about the large number of x1 cousins... We have no idea how many phones were mixing into this.
We don't know if paris is p3, p5, x2 or whatever - but it is the device on mizzle's pic (right miz?  )

it has the optical navigation button as the x1, i think its the p5. if its dual slides it can be cool, but not enough for a p5. |

It could be the next cybershot uiq phone and would we know? no!
The article doesn't say anything about g's, c's, x's, w's or p's(what a flock of phones that r all supposed to run uiq!)
Another thing causing confusion is pk's "that's her! that's it!" He's had more phones and we don't know which one he is referring to (remeber the x1 'scam'?? )
-pk knows something about a phone (you don't even know it's final name right? because all prototypes are labeled se123 or x123)
-mizzle and other insiders know something (else)
-se fans (like me) come in here and make a bunch of guesses
-->and we get one big passionate MESS: the wonderful 2008 rumors thread, which I so dearly love...

I just know as soon as I buy this SE will come up with something far better then...especially considering that from september, UIQ4 is only a few months away. |

Paris will be announced before end of May, not later...if you are talking about other UIQ, phones, well, it can be, the roadmap is full of them

I'm curious as to why it takes so long for SE to develop a new model for the flagship phone? Maybe its because they wish to get it RIGHT this time!
Will this involve motion gestures (using camera, motion-sensor, or both)??!
Why a slider? Is SE trying to make 75% of their lineup to be sliders, or flip phones??
I just hope UIQ3.3 is created with the business professional that loves multimedia in mind. No half stepping! No more need to carry a laptop to do tasks or continue presentations or business communications. Video recording at VGA for 30fps & TV Out would be very nice.
