what's the k530?

(I do actually know what it is - no need to tell me)

Ok somethings weird about the image, thats for sure. Maybe it just wasn't the best place in the video to take a still screen from, but heres some things I want to point out:

Within the blue circle, there is a lot of blurring that isn't consistent with the rest of the phone, like its not the same texture as the top of the phone for example. This makes it appear as if somebody is hiding something from us.

Within the red circles its even more obvious and you can sort of make out what appears to be buttons which appear to have been blurred out by someone. I think this is what Tigershark was trying to point out.

You may need to refer back to the original to see what's in the red circles, as my awesome circling skills meant the blue circle blocked it out!

i think the red circles are call/end keys...and the blue circle is more of a buttons a samsung phone...except for the dpad... (u700/u600) (just a guess)^_^

being based on the UIQ3.3 software, raises serious concerns.
we all saw what happened exactly with the P990. (put hardware shortcomings aside) the software was buggy).
i hope this time, they get the software done 100% before rolling it out of their factory.

.
but overall.. i don't think it will steal the X1 spotlight. at least for me

From mobilereview: Spillikins issue 2

"......it is quite another matter that it carries over manual focusing from stand-alone digital cameras with touch-sensitive screens. It is a truly wonderful thing: you look at the screen, pick the object you want by tapping on the display and then the camera will obediently focus on it. Upcoming handsets in the Cyber Shot range will feature this ability too."

Cybershot must be a touchscreen then?

UIQ 3.3 is still Symbian 9.x...not a huge jump like P910 to P990 (UIQ2.x to UIQ3, Symbian 7.x to Symbian 9.x)

So were we wrong about the 'finger touch UI' or will it be somewhat optimized/ customizeable for this do you think? (Just like the G900 is UIQ3.2, yet it has been tweaked a little for this).

The fact that the phone looks small but is not at all thin would suggest great optics?

It is quite thin. The viewing angle makes it look thick.

Ah I see, thanks.

I'm just dying to see the spec sheet.

Me too. Even though I think everyone who has followed this thread knows the specs inside and out by now.

Personally, I don't think it looks thick from the picture...but then anything looks thin next to my N95. Whoever said 15mm sounds about right.

Indeed. And is Wayfinder 7 still bundled like you said many moons ago? Or was that just BeiBei?

google maps is not so good solution, bacause you alway must download maps, and that COST...

SE must come with something like Nokia Maps
OnePlus 8
