The phone design reminds me of that unknown phone we were trying to figure out 100 pages ago but didn't come up with any conclusion. I know the screen is smaller and the d-pad ratio is bigger but hey, it does look similar.

I'm not talking about the phone with the arrow bu the one in the centre.
I'm pretty sure the real phone will look much better than the "spypic": this has been true for the T303, K850, etc. It does have metal accents, like what eldar said (mobile-review).
i thought we ended up with the conclusion this was the W980.

Nah its not the W980i, a simple side-by-side comparison shows this.
@mizzle: What does this mean then? (taken from your blog)

Love it. Looks REALLY small. I cannot wait to ditch my N95 for this thing. |

The looks dont impress me at all ATM. In fact, Im hard pressed to find an uglier looking phone. But Ill give everyone who's seen the video the benefit of the doubt and hope for the best. BTW, I think the D-pad is so big because it may have one of those 'optical joysticks' or 'touch pads' like the X1 has. Not a very good photo to stand as evidence of that, but it does look to be that way to me. Materials dont look very exquisite there. IMO there isnt a single concept for Paris on Esato which doesnt look better than that PROVE ME WRONG SE . I hate that it has one of those rocker keyboards though, doesnt look practical. AT LEAST this time it hides away lol. I hope it has a finger touch navigation system as rumoured, or at least like the G900/G700 have. |

Anyone else noticing the W960i similarities?

I see none. W960 looks fantastic. Does remind me of the M600i somewhat though.

W960's top part could be copied for Paris - absolutely
I love the design of the W960 |

You don't see it? Especially at the top of the phone?
EDIT: Ha! Thanks m-one!

True, but its still missing that sleek look. W960 balanced that with just the right complexity, and it did it perfectly, this looks too simple somehow. Anyway, on a different note, if you look at the bottom corners of the front face, dont you also see what looks like very blurry call/hang up buttons?

I see something blurry, but theres no way I can tell what it is. Thats why I originally thought there were hardware buttons that had been blurred out.

I personally doubt there will be touch buttons, but you never know. Bear in mind 'with the most crucial parts blurred out' |

It doesn't look exactly like the W960i, but it certainly looks more like it than the X1 does.
I'm really digging the touch-sensitive buttons if it indeed has them. This is a phone I could hang onto for a long time. Maybe even two years! |

Yeah but it seemed like Mizzle and Pop Lover were trying to say its not blurred out how we're thinking, its just blurred because its a poor quality video.
