what's the "outlook plugin"? I'm already syncing to outlook, is this new feature an Outlook add-in? and if so how does one install it?

With the Addin you have direct access from the contextmenu in Outlook contacts to call/send sms. You can enable it in the Advanced settings for Outlook-Contactsync. |

I remember when I needed MobyExplorer for my K500, ah memories....... (but they weren't very positive ones). I also remember when I compressed all my MP3s down to a bitrate of 32

here's a question that prolly was answered before...
does MPE backs up everything or just contacts, tasks, etc?

what do you mean by everything? It doesn't back internal FS, phone settings etc. But it can backup user accessible files, contacts, calendar, tasks, messages, sim contacts, sim messages, and the sms archive in MPE.

Cool. I wasn't sure of you realised it didn't have fs access, but I shoulda realised you would
Basically with mpe, you can backup all user data on the phone except mms and emails, notes and settings.

I wouldn't mind mms backup/sync support - I receive my voicemails in my mms inbox (saves having to dial voice message number - it's like having push email for my voicemail, very handy)
