Hey guys I need your help.
I have a K850i on R1EA031. I updated the firmware 3 weeks ago and the phone worked fine. But now my phone has a problem. The three touch-sensitive soft keys dont seem to respond at all.
I've tried restarting the phone multiple times and it still didnt work.
What should I do? Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Isn't it time for us to be looking for another firmware?
-the media wallpaper become degraded
-megabass degraded
-camera still very slow, colors are not white, poor image algorithm
-video sync problem while multitasking/auto-rotating
-slow UI compared to K800
Seriously, we need a new firmware here... |

BROD happened to me on 037, simply a rubbish phone, get a new one and make sure its not a SE
Are you Positive it was BROD??? This is the first I've heard of this happening on 037. I did have my phone hang a couple of times to where it wouldn't power on past the keyboard lights but I was able to flash it via SEUS and do the "continue anyways" which restored the phone to working order. I have Not been able to do that with BROD because the SEUS flash fails.

I think thats the first documented case of 37 in this thread.
@Naamloos Most of his info is useful. Instead of just shooting him down maybe you should contribute something, minus the sarcasm. |

@Naamloos
Thank you, much appreciated, no hard feelings, thank you for the changes, you are very considerate. I was just trying to help peeps...
@Togan
I love the iphone, but i see it as such a useless phone. The multitouch screen is revoltionary, ease of use incrediable. However, it does all the stuff that the phone did that I had in 2005 to the same quality. 2MP camera, music player, email, edge conncectivity. Sure it is a great talking/showoff point, but about 7 people I know have got one, and 5 say the novilty of having one has weared off. This is my personal opinion, please to not feel attacked or do not let me sway your decision, it is a brilliant phone. |

Get a viewty, add an 8gb card and install the Iphone theme! I added the theme to my flatmates viewty and it works almost identically (icons, scroll etc) but his is 5mp with 3g
Anyways, I got the K850 on 031 and I only had one reboot. I was playin music and sendin a file over bluetooth when a txt came in. Didnt like all that ram usage and rebooted. Wasnt 'random' like most peoples seem to be. I feel this is the best Firmware so far and definately has about half a dayish more standby than 037. Could I just be lucky?
Im on Orange K850 build 07w43, debrabded via Davinci to Western Generic 038 and SEUS update to 031. Its connected to my MBW-100 24/7 and I get at least 2 days from it (Over weekend I get avg 3.5 days - less calls etc).
Sorry if anyone finds my post irrelavent.

how long you are running the 031 FW |

6 days after it came out. I knew it was gonna take a few weeks to come out on Orange and couldnt wait in the end. Best thing I did! Using 4gb Micro and its faster than using 2gb M2 on 038! Marginaly faster but definately noticable.

Yea, I will upgrade too. As I have said, its only gotten better, and for my experience it applies to each update. There is always the option to downgrade via Davinci if you dont get on with the new firmware. Its nice to have a safety net only costin 7quid.

Do any of you get non-responding touch sensitive buttons with latest FW? It happens to me allot and the only way is to restart the phone. |
