Who cares.. its taking forever to port. The 808 system was designed around a Real-Time OS .. Windows NT is not.. so I knew that it will be a while until they get it to work properly.

The 808 is a perfectly capable smartphone, and it will serve me well until a real replacement comes along.

Just look at this indoor shot.. way ahead of the game at this point.

You can certainly tell the difference. I think the only cameraphone which could come close would be the N8.

As for the SGS4, im not convinced it can beat Nokia's true cameraphones.

Nice shot there very bright, clear with nice colours!! I have been thinking of getting a cheap N8 as there is plenty on Ebay even brand new now just to use as a camera phone not as a phone but can be used as a back up too. Nokia will eventually release a top camera on WP

I tried to get one about three months ago but they were still £450 in the UK sim free.

£450 for a Symbian phone is expensive even with its amazing camera. Plus I cannot justify spending that money on a phone to only use it mainly for its camera. Plus I would like a larger screen with at least 720p resolution to make the images it takes pop.

On my N8, the photos look ok but you only see the difference when they're put on my laptop for example.

That's still too much. Even though this year ive had a massive pay rise with my new job I have managed to run up some debts in my pursuit of a new career which will take me a year or two to pay off so in the mean time, I still have to be a little thrifty.

I could quite easily upgrade to a S4 but its just not worth the money for me for only a 50% improvement in actual phone value (to me).

To me the 808 is worth every dollar because I use it to its maximum potential, both as a smartphone, and as a camera.

I just looked at my data usage this month and the 808 has transmitted over 3GB over 3G for me so far for the month.. lots of streaming, acting as a wifi hotspot, e-mail, etc. It really covers all the bases

Its the perfect tool for my lifestyle.

I could use my N8 as my main phone any time without looking back. The only draw towards Android for me is the larger screens and better app support.

I still find Symbian on my N8 better than Android 4.1.2 my S3 runs. It can still do more.
