i dunno what is the problem right now...
motor is quite smooth now by turning it with hands on both directions
the car is able to move front and back smoothly by hand without the motor
but when the motor is fixed it ... the car just wont budge.
how do i remove the back wheels ....just push it down only?
|

wheels, yep just push them down. Motor may be binding with the gears, try repositioning it a little.

finally the wheels removed
even without the wheels the motor did not even budge....
does it mean that the motor is damaged?
can you give me a link from the site which you have given earlier
the motor that you have purchased before that is compatible with CAR100.
Do they do online booking and international delivery?

I've never used that site I just google it. Search ebay for bit charg cars - you'll find em. Just buy a cheap one and see if it's motor works (yours is probably shorted from trying to budge those stuck wheels).
Does the battery charge up? Can you pair the car and move the front wheels left/right? If so the battery is okay.

i removed all the back wheels leaving the motor alone.
but it still wont move
now i am trying to source a suitable motor locally
btw do you have a spare one ... can sell it to me?

You could either modify/change the charging port of the car (dunno if its possible) or you could just buy a used/cheap t68..

yeah I was thinking about buying a cheap phone, but I'd rather try mod it for convenience - Do you think it's possible?
It would probably look like this...

I think making own adapter is the only way. (charger might fry the little beastie - it's designed to use the phone to charge, not a charger)
I just tried my car-100 with my K800 as controller, and it works except for backwards (forwards left and right work fine)
The K750 it works perfectly.
Still I might charge it up for a good hour and see if it works (backwards)
Here's my modded Car-100 with "Ericsson" (see the logo) original shell, and Holden Monaro shell

I've tried to replace CAR-100's connector with a conector from a CST-60 charger but It didn't work. The new models (new connector) dont charge the car. I don't know why but it didn't work. |

No I have no pics because I put back the hold connector and now I charge it with my T68.
There was no prob with the connection. The fact is that I checked with an ammeter and there is no power delivered by the phone.
Anyone try to change the connector ?
