Strange that nobody has the same thoughts as me,whereas Killzone 2 looks very familiar to Call of Duty on Ps2,but 35 times better! I believe!!! ;-)

And this is buggin me,at the press conference Sony said that the PS3 would be using Bluetooth 2.0 Now isnt this better than what most of us use in our phones? 1.1? 1.2? And will we get more than 10 metre range? Anyone? :-)

I read somewhere that ps3 will be less than 400 bucks and xchest360 will be 300 or 370 bucks. And btw, final fantasy still will be exclusive for ps3. They will just remake a ps2 version of ff11 to xbox, just because its online and xbox is more often used for online.

@boyi: the killzone2 video was bogus, so wait and see what it really looks like come release (actually i think there's a lot that was bogus at the ps3 media circus). the original wasn't that good a game anyway.
and yes, i would hope that the BT standard would be better than what i can do with my phone. personally, i think the xbox360 wireless implementation is better IMHO.

So after reading this it looks like ps3 will be able to support 13 controllers...if need be
http://www.gamespot.com/news/[....]html?tag=lastword_ps3_headline
Quote; 'Chatani revealed that seven controllers were the maximum number of Bluetooth wireless connections the PS3 could handle. He said additional controllers could be added by plugging them into the PS3's USB slots'.
Edit,this is interesting too,i like the way he calls the Xbox 360 an Xbox 1.5
http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/05/24/news_6126423.html
Quote; 'He went on to say that Microsoft's new game console is more of an "Xbox 1.5" than a new console, in the sense that it seems like an extension of the original Xbox'.

and the sony PR-hype machine keeps spewing forth prevarication upon prevarication. first it comes with hard drive, then it doesn't. it's a games console, then it's not. it's easy to develop for, but there are no actual game demos available. it's using an nVidia RSX, but they haven't even produced one chip yet. and the "1.5" crack holds absolutely no water.
the ps3 might be great when it finally arrives, but at the moment it looks increasingly like vapourware.

@axxxr
Thanks for writing that comprehensive thread opener.
Ok for the rest
- i am a gamer and desire better and cooler games. The discussion here is mainly hardware based but guys listen, the xbox when it first came was better than the Ps2 but lacked quality titles to support its hardware. The issue here is to see whether or not game developers can make top titles which actually use all the raw power on display

exactly
my main beef is that a lot of people are refusing to see all the publicity for what it actually is - a huge PR circus which will likely bear little relation to what actually arrives on store shelves.
