I wasnt refering to numbers of sold units, Im well aware that this world is filled with nokiabuyers that will allways buys nokias, because thats what they have been brought up to do by their silly parents who has also allways bought nokias. The nokia brand are so heavily crafted that an enourmes amount of people get them for no other reason other than them being nokias.
6230i will most likely also outsell K750
I was refering to the phones qualities.
6230i is a laugh compared to K750, Ive tried them both.
6230i camera is so pittyfull they should have stayed with the VGA cam of 6230.
They didnt upgrade the processor, but upped the screen resolution and menus, thus the phone is alot slower in use than the 6230. T9 doesnt work right, sms are slower than on 6230.
It still does not play videos with AAC audio, only AMR audio and I for one will never get any phone that only plays AMR in videos, it defies the whole idea of being able to play video if the sound is so crappy you cant bear to listen to it. Besides that it doesnt play videos full screen as the K750 does.
Screen is improved with high resolution which is good, but its still smaller than K750 with fewer colors.
Java is week compared to K700/K750 which even plays series60 games fluently. Something the 6230i doesnt.
They still have no real theming support making the phone boring in less than a week. EDGE is as irrellevant as it was in 6230 as western europe (where I live) doesnt offer edge.
It definately does not have better mp3 or radio quality, allthough I agree you can controll it with the headset.
It also doesnt not have mentionable better calendar, adressbook or pim, makes no real difference if I can store 2000 or 2500 entries in adressbook or 100/150 sms and the only thing that differs in calendar is recurrent events which is supported on the SE's if you synch with outlook.
And why are you even mentioning N90 in this comparison between 6230i and K750 ?

Hi,
Any ideas when the K750i will be released in South Africa. My contract is up for renewal in June & I'd like to give it a try (otherwise it's the N6230i). I have the N6230, and it's not that great...
Thanks,

For sure, nokia will be picked in a nokia forum.
BUT, get the k750i! patience is a virtue. just wait.
are you on the list? |

What real, practical advantage does the 6230i have over the k750 anyway?
