I've bought my HPM-70!!! It's so good!!! Here's my review!

1) With the ear-plug design, noise from outside is significantly reduced.

2) The bass is indeed very good, perhaps due to the reduction of noise from outside that causes this...but nevertheless, it's bass is very good.

3) Besides the bass, the main tone itself is very clear and not like some lousy headphone where when you've trn up the bass level, the quality of the music and tone will be reduced. In other words, the music is very clear and crystal.

4) The mic is also very good. When you speak through the mic, u can hear yourself speak through the ear-piece just like when you are using your house phone quality. Excellent!!!

5) Price wise to me it's reasonable. It's at $68 in Singapore! Compare with sony's "earplug" headphones which is around $50, this is considered quite a good buy.

OK, that's all folks. Haven't really tested it with another headphone though... Hope this helps! Cheers!

If anyone else is looking for a pair of these, you can pick them up on Play.com for £17.99.

Not sure if I like them yet personally, will have to play more with the different sized ear pieces to see if I can get some more bass out of them.

It's a pity you can't use the equaliser on the radio :-\

I've seen a set of HPM-70 on eBay for $3.99 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Original-HPM-70-Stereo-Handsfree-W550i-W800i-K750i-W800_W0QQitemZ5832150845QQcategoryZ20347QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). Seems to good to be true. Anyone have any experience of buying from this seller, or others selling HPM-70s for less than $10?

The $31.50 postage costs is maybe how he'd get more money out of you [addsig]

i love my HPM-70's miles better than the earphones that came with my ipod mini in my opinion. Mainly just because they block out that much more exteria noise!
