Just a Rumour but the P1000 is unvaield in march or Apr and will be out in summer to arutem 2005.
Size of PDA smartphone: Unknown.
Screen size: Rumoured to be bigger then rest of P series phones.
Colour screen TFT: 262k
Camera: Unknown but Rumoured maybe 1.3 mega pixel or 2 megapixel.
Kep pad: Most likely Yes.
OS: Symbrain UIQ
Memory: 64bm intenel and Duo card up to 1gig duo pro
Battrey: 1260amh to 1370amh Rumoured.
Bluetooth: 1.2 Rumoured.
Wi fi: Rumoured.
3G: Rumoured as most sites say it wornt have 3G.

I still think it is totally crazy that SE hasn´t released a 3G smartphone yet. I mean they have a pretty much perfect smartphone in the P900/910 phones (i don´t really care much for the P910 keyboard since i always used my P800 without flip). How hard could it be to insert some kind of 3G module into it.
I dont think it would have to affect the size very much and what the heck the Z1010 is huge and does not have any smart phone capabilities and people still buy it. It is actually a quite crappy phone compared to most 2G phones.
Sure the battery timed would probably be a bit lower but i am still pretty sure they could make it as good as the Z1010.
If it was not for the fact that my service provider offered me free internet connection with 3G i would never have changed my P800 for the Z1010.
SE, pleas give us what we want. NOW!

Im hoping it'll have a 2mp camera as good as the S700i's.
1mp is quickly becoming old now, every major phone maker has one almost, and Nokia have at least 5 phones with a 1mp camera.
SE could keep the small size and fit 3G in, look at the motorola A1000, it has a 1.2mp camera, 3G and the UIQ interface just like the P900.

you lot hope a lot if the past 2 years are anything to goby i would say the only big improvement will be in the camera .for the rest of the phone it will be just a few upgrades iep800 to p900 to p910 .so we are probably going to get a p920 which they will call probably p1000 or some other name to go with times as has been done with all other models.if se were to give you your wishlist phones they would go out of the mobile business a few years down the road .all this will be true if other manufactures dont push them into producing mobiles expected from them |

Maybe, but the small improvements which to me at least are the most important would be:
1.3mp camera, minimum
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth v1.2
Remember the P910i wasnt a true successor to the P900, more of a stop-gap, like the T610<>T630.
Also, remember last year we saw screenshots of the new UIQ interface. I think it will definitely make an appearance in the next P phone.

I mean the Z1010 was a great first shot at 3G and so, but it can't hold a candle to the P900 series.
SE has been known to only gradually update the Pxxx model series. So I do not expect anything revolutionary in the P1000, but a good improvement over the P910.
The P900 was what the P800 should have been. The P910 was what the P900 should have been. The P1000 will be what the P910 should have been?
