to prevent scratches on their phones, ppl here laminate it.
u know how they laminate cards n stuff, the same thing.
wraps the phone in plastic, and seals it up using heat.
there is a machine which does it.
it may spoil the look of the phone when not done well.
govi was showing us pics of his laminated phone.
if u look carefully, u can see a coating of plastic

Oh! But if u remove it, doesnt it damage the screen? Some use such holders and when u take it off, the display is so weird.

its difficult to remove once its laminated.
i guess it may spoil the display if not done well or if one keeps pressing it with their fingers |

laminating is very cheap for you it comes to around one third of a pound.. or even one fourth.... no it oesnot spoil the phone in anyway... once you seal it, you cannot remove the sim... . you can remove it easily.... by just tearing it off... it actually makes your phone look good after a years worth of rough use... the screeen will be scratch free... as long as it is laminated... |

@kooki - What does that 'plastic lamination' cover dude? I hope only the screen, but if the plastic covers the whole fone . . . my goodness better just get yourself an SE accessory for the said model fone. As it will look quite cheap and unappealling pal . . . |

@jn-i dont laminate my phones
i was just telling boba how everyone here does it.
when my phone was new, i used one of thoses horrible zip covers. now, to prevent scratches i use a screen protector
lamination is 10 bucks only.(price of a sweet)

@govigov - Looks like a 'cheap' (ly) done - Krusell case mate
@kooki - Good for you for not laminating your fones (new), here in Manila, we only laminate things in plastic - ID/Passports/Documents . . . |
