2 things :
1. I'm sorry guys, but I have to hand it to Silex...he made a pointless thread and everybody's rushing on it, including me...im sure he knew what he was doing, notice how he does not reply...congrats Silex, you may be a dumbass, but we don't seem to be any smarter on this one
2. Does anyone really give 2 shits about the Quickshare sticker???

how come there are so many differing opinions over the battery about 75% of people are saying its crap and the rest that its fine.
have different people go differnet batteries or are they just more tolerate or just use to charging there phone every day anyway so they never notice the difference.

Sure, that may be true with some users, but not me. Ive owned many many phones and i can tell when a phone has bad battery life. The SE phones ive had in the past have had good battery life of 3 days use.
The K700i seems to have the exact same battery life, if not better than my T610 which i was perfectly happy with.
Phones with bad batteries ive had include the Samsung T100, the Siemens C45, ME45 and more. Those phones were lucky to last one day - and i used them less than i use any of my SE phones simply because they had less features, they were boring.
Nobody on this forum will convince me that the K700i has poor battery life. If other people do have poor battery life then they're either not charging the phone correctly, have faulty batteries or have damaged their battery by over charging / undercharging when they first got the phone.
My expectations of the K700 was for the battery to last 2-3 days, and it certainly does. Like some, i dont expect such an advanced phone to last a month like phones of 4 years ago did, current battery technology simply isnt able to give us that.

You know, I've read some nonsense in my time but your 10 points top all that!
They are all personal opinions, and not very well thought out at all.
You're trying to compare apples and oranges and, I'm afraid, looking like a fool into the bargain.
The k700i is perhaps the finest phone I've owned! I'd've bought a 3 mobile but I think they all suck and I'm prepared to wait another year for some quality video-mobiles to come out. Until then, my free upgrade to the k700i from O2 will do very nicely! |

Totally off topic, i know, but couldn“t help but react to your ME45 standby.. Mine lasted almost a week!! And that was not a one-off either. Strange really, how standby time can differ so much between same phones/different users?!
Btw my K700 lasts anything between 2 - 4 days depending on use, worst so far was on first charge 1½ days..
(When I say days, I mean 24 h, my phones are always on 24/7)
Cheers!

well firstly the best way to survive the market is to openly take criticism...!
Now most of the things the author has stated here in this thread does not stand true for all, its like a random bunch of phones with such issues..!
1) The Quickshare sticker was perfect for the first month but yesterday it got loose, Here is what I did...I cleaned it with soap water and also cleaned the phone part where it was stuck, removed all gum trace and now I add 2 Drops of Super-Glue and Voila it sticks perfect. Try that instead of Moaning about the sticker...
2) Well a phone is a phone, Features such as Camera's and MP3 players are add on benefits of competitveness..! The way to load at least 12 songs and still have 3 MB free is to convert them into 112 Kbps and they don't sound much different from 128 Kbps bitrate and consume less space..! Camera quality is good, You can't compare a proper Digi-cam to this baby..they are two different things..Photo's are more than good..!
3) Take a soft ear bud and dip it with little soapy water and clean your camera lens, I do it every week.
I think the new firmware will solve most of the problems in time...! Try to work things out rather than lash out the product is defective..! I remember when Windows Xp was out people were scepticle that it might crash and suffer like Windows ME..But then XP gained the market...Same here give it time...! BTW I never had Problems with Windows ME either..lol..
