@ poler
Welcome fellow Canadian lol (yeah, that sounds cheesy)
Anydangway, welcome to Esato...
About Rogers, I've gotten that feedback from a few people already, I don't know what their problem is lol
As for Fido, my buddy inquired, and the MMS is currently ONLY available from Fido to Fido...because it's free! In september, when you will have to pay, you'll be able to send it to email addresses and mobile numbers worlwide.
By the way, where in Canada are you?

----------
As K700 is not made in USA customs duty also applies.
---------
There is no duty on mobile phones.

---------
MMS to email has been working for a few weeks.
---------
Don't know about Rogers but Fido will only activate MMS on phones you buy from them. Others can only receive links through WAP
---------
- I am using an unlocked Fido phone on Rogers and can send/receive MMS.
- I have serious doubts about Fido+MMS. What if you have a MMS-capable phone bought overseas? Also can you not just TELL them you have a Fido phone, and if they insist, give them an IMEI of a MMS enabled Fido phone borrowed from your friend?
- the fact that a phone can only receive links through WAP is because the phone is not properly setup for MMS with the data accounts/wap profile information

Well, thanks for the info, it does work for mms > email, but still doesnt work towards europe:(
As far as the MMS settings, I bought my phone in Switzerland, Fido knows I didn't get it from then, and they've never given me a hard time about the settings...if they've given anyone a hard time, it's probably because it's not a model they carry and even if they wanted to, the don't know how to set up your phone for you. They have step-by-step manuals by phone model. They follow that and God forbid something doesnt go as planned, they don't know what to do. Anyhow, it would be pointless for them not to want you to have the mms settings JUST BECAUSE you didn't get your phone from them
By the way, your profile says Singapore, yet you know about Fido & Rogers...where in Canada are you?
