@missuk - if that is the case, maybe it's time to buy a new one . . .

i finally found myself a streaking silver r520 last week in pretty good condition. i was quite happy about that. but then i came across a brand new, never used copper r520 so i bought it immediately! it's arriving next week, and i guess when it comes, i'll have to decide what to do with the silver one...

i'm so happy tho since i always regretted the day when i sold my old r520.

@missuk - Battery of course ! Unless, if your fone is the one that has a damage here ???
I just bought a second hand Motorola V8088+ fone (unit and charger only), it is really one of the old fones that I dream of having ! It only came with a charger - manual was provided by one of the mods here (thanks, again!). Though since I am a very meticulous guy, the covers needs some changin', and it's quite hard to find a cheap one here in Manila now, since it is already an obsolete unit so to speak . . . Nevertheless, I just feel relieved !

JoJo. Think i'll leave that the phone seems ok now! Try www.ebay.com for covers for that phone, America seems to have alot of old fashioned cellphones :-D

@missuk - Thanks so much for the 'ebay' buying stuff, but I just don't buy accessories and whatever online - I am not used to that. I would rather climb 7 mountains and search for that item here in my place, than buying it abroad, might have damaged the item during the course of the shipment etc. etc Thanks anyway !

@lazeeboy - Nice T68i back there mate! send me a pm when you get tired of it and plans to sell it OK, only for an affordable price mate!
I just got hold of a 2002 Motorola V60i model fone for 2 weeks now, and it's just great I sold my other vintage Motorola V8088 one, LCD starting to go berserk, and I just cannot find a relacement one . The V60i (clamshell) is bigger compared to the V8088 and looks more stable/manly look, because of it's metal casing/covers I just love it! My next project will be to buy me an SE T68i fone again !

I am contemplating on buying this front cover - for my night use in dinner galas with the tycoons of Manila:
