Going back to old phones? |

Has anyone feel compelled to go back and use older phones? I dunno - i am somewhat apathetic towards these new phones. The longest time I had a phone was with the T68i (1 year). Then i went with the T610 and had that for four months, now I have the V525 (flexed V600)...
Now i have moved back to the V60i! Ive decided to use the V525 as a 2ndary phone for my back up sim card, and use the V60i for everything and anything. It doesn't have bluetooth, its 2 years old, doesn't have a colour screen, but i love it to bits. Maybe its a bit of nostalgia. |

@ Morbodestroys! You've got right! But when I buy a new phone I buy that one which is for me the most attractive! But when I see a 3210 (nokia), I wish myself that phone again! :-)

Out of curiousity - could old be every be cool again?
With mobiles its always the newest is the coolest right? There has to be some phones that stood their test through time?
Nokia 8810 maybe perhaps?

I totally understand how you feel...
Been using my faithful T39m for over 2 years now, then last november i bought a t610 cause i need another number. I think t610 is much better than the t39m (feature and convenience wise) but yet i still love my t39m and using it with the sim i use the most. What makes matter worst is that i just got a p900 as a birthday present and now i'm so confused!
I like my t610 and love the t39m, in fact i like the p900 the least cause i feel its too big for me and i dont really need the features. Since i can only use 2 numbers and acknowledging that p900 is a very expensive phone with top notch features (can't bear to waste a phone such as the p900) make this matter very dillematic for me.
I sensed the best solution is to use the t610 and the p900 and try to sell the t39m, but not a day goes by without me thinking of how good and better is my t39m compare to the new phones...
So yes i know how it feels.... |

Well, to be honest, I am still using my old Nokia 8250 fone till now (spare to my Nokia 9210i). Presently, I am eager to get my hand on 2 of Motorola's 'vintage' ('98 models ?) flip type fones. I am scouting the net and our local tabloid - Buy & Sell, to look and buy for those. Unfortunately, still unlucky till this very moment to see one that is still in very good condition and mint one too - (3 months now). As I watch some DVD 2001-2003 movie titles, I can still these 2 fones being used by the film's pro and antagonists, specially in the US. I know despite their outdated features, they still look great to have - and own !

Id prob say the Nokia 8850 is quite a icon. Still looks classy when I see people using it!
