I am fortunate that I can afford such a deal as the one I got, some people can't. I am sure there are ways to get it cheaper but all the discussion is based on getting it on orange which is not the network I want to be on. I have been with vodafone for about 5 years now with no problems at all.

Maybe I did pay over the odds for it, we all do it, but that doesn't bother me. Besides i've still got my p800 to sell yet so i'll get bit for that. Which reminds me I need to cancel the contract on that one when I get home thats costing me £36 a month + insurance alone AAAHHHHH!!!!

No, O will charge you outstanding Line rental for the Year if u you go to OVP-V before 12 Months are up.

This has always been the case and is stipulated in writing.

With regards to this thread, a good question to ask would be,,,,, has anyone suffered clawback from CPW, ever?

Also it wasn't very clear to me, but did you have to pay the 100 pound for the first month? or did this change to 10 since you changed the tariff?

(I'm thinking about this tommorow, sell my p800 for 130, and use the money to cover my years line rental, and then a tenner for unlocking.. perfect)

Look in the december 2003 buyers guide from carphonewarehouse. Read the smallprint at the top of page 5. It states: All camera phones free! *subject to 12 months subscription to selected tariffs and credit clearance. Excludes upgrades. Excludes integrated devices (eg Sonyericsson P800, P900) hope this helps clarify things. Ps you can get the P900 there simfree for a reasonable £329.99.

@Peeps1980, ...er looks to me like the statement at the beginning of your post seriously contradicts the statement at the end.

You may find that later in life when you want a house or similar that you wished you had saved every single penny you could on fancy goods like phones ETC.
unless money is just no object

Bolton can't be that far for you.

We have worked out how to get a P900 for £205 from Carphonewarehouse!!! without being charged clawback!!!

Why are you still looking to buy simfree for more than £400 or get it from an internet retailer??? MOST INTERNET RETAILERS ALL CHARGE CLAWBACK!!
