(vFinal_rev5) AudioPhile Premium HD Acoustics for All A2 & UIQ3 Phones |

Hmm tried them just now with the PHF files and my preset manual equalizer from when I was using the original acoustics. Sounds very good on the HPM-64, not as good on the HPM-70 I got with my W580. Time to try that CSV file. Oh I'm using Flat btw.
Question, are you going to make acoustics for the speakers? I hate how my cousin's soon-to-have Nokia 5800 is going to own my phone, along with like most of the phones out there.
*will edit post after I upload the CSV if no one posts*
Edit: So I'm no audiophile, but what does the CSV change? Truth be told, they sound more or less the same as before I uploaded the CSV file. Maybe it's my HPM-64 and HPM-70...I'm going to try the stock acoustics and see if I can feel a difference.
Oh, just turned on stereo widening. There's clearly a difference, but not sure if it's for the good or worse. Haha I'm such a noob.
Edit: After some testing with your acoustics and stereo widening. It seems that using stereo widening is the way to go. Some songs seem to be better with stereo widening off. I'm comparing it with the speakers on my computer. I'm using Linkin Park - Papercut, Maximum the Hormone - Buiiki Kaesu!!, and BoA - Eat You Up to test.
Oh, what's DRC? How do I turn it on or off?
Edit: Man, all this and I didn't even test your other acoustics yet.
For the Crystalizer Boom, it seems to sound better with Stereo Widening off for Linkin Park - Papercut. Again, I'm comparing these to my computer speakers.
Ugh I give up for the night.

It has the sound expanded by default. Stereo widening expands it more, at may not sounds good in hpm-64. Try higher quality headphones like hpm-85, koss portapro or some open design headphone such as sennheiser and grados.
And of course, not all music sounds good.. Some music already has reverberation in it.. Don't turn it on in rock music.. I listen papercut, too, it sounds weird. Try for something instrumental like Kitaro, August Rush Rhapsody, or Synthetized one like Owl City
For compatibility to all music, turn it off. The sound is already wider by default.. It's not essential to turn it on furthermore..
Crystalizer Boom has wider sound than Flat.. That's why it may sounds weird..
Just use your desired setting and equalizer.. Try to adjust manual eq to fit your own taste, there's no restriction for that..
About drc, there's two mechanism, from the csv and wbxml.. But it's not really good decision since most mp3 out there needs balancing..
I don't had a plan to mod the speaker.. As I said before, I want to take holiday, far away from computer.. Currently, I'm replying from my mobile phone
And every se phones has different configuration of speaker, such as mono/stereo, impedance, driver diameter, balancing, etc..
Unlike phf which is universal for all a2, modding loudspeaker acoustic in spesific phone is only good for that phone, while it may not sounds good in another phones. That's why I only mod the phf..
Csv boost the volume, balance the channel and maintain the dynamic range.. You may not notice it hmp-64.. Try high quality cans.. As stated in first post, standard quality handsfree or mp3 will not unleash full acoustic potential

In 1.5 do i have to put customize? the folder is named only for csv#1 so i think not. |

Yes you can. I thought I should change the phrase to "not for csv #2".. Customize_upgrade only gives +14 dB boost, so manual eq behaves like megabass.. Try manual eq with Crystallize Boom or flat.. You also could modify manual eq furthermore..

Hey thanks for the work!
I tested and compared it to Franc Marc's acoustic. His work can produce louder acoustic but with more hissing sounds.Yours produces average sound volume but with good quality.Overall very good!
But i dont really c the difference between the csv1 and csv2.Mayb i have an iron ear hehe |

You're welcome
Wow, so many people wants louder sound?
Ok, I will try that in next version, but I can't promise it
@kenshi,
Which handsfree do you use? Hpm-64? Try hpm-85, SE's best and loudest handsfree (around 20 dollar).. I only listen at 2-3 bar.. But it's not portable

Erm sorry coz i am not very good in technical stuff..i am using C905.And i am not using handsfree.I meant the backspeaker of the phone Haha i think i know the reason they need louder sound..coz sometimes we cant hear the phone ringing especially in noisy environment
Tat's y louder ringing tone could be useful to us.But i am not saying quality is not important..but it's very hard to make a good quality and loud sound at the same time. That's y i know u guys had work hard to come out with those acoustic
Many many thanks to u guys |

@kenshin,
My acoustic doesn't has any effects to a backspeaker! It also doesn't has an effect for calling or when your phone ringing while there's some incoming call..
You only can notice the difference when you listen a music using handsfree!
If you install my acoustic, the backspeaker is still driven by previous acoustic installed, which is likely Franc Marc in your case..

Ah ha!No wonder! But then i did a master reset and also software upgrade,i do think tat Franc Marc's file r gone together with that.No wonder my phone volume has gone down so much
Anyway can i combine ur csv with francs marcs?Because as far as i see, those file r in different folder.Ur's in tpa/preset/acoustic and his r in ifs/settings/acoustic if i am not mistaken

So it was original driver that controls your backspeaker
If you upload my csv, it also doesn't has an effect to backspeaker. But if you listen through handsfree along with franc marc, it has an effect

as i know the sound in the headphones is already really good, how will this driver improve it?

Yes the original driver is already good.. But of course we could improve it more.. Sometimes after firmware update, the quality is improved, right?
And I thought it's a matter of taste. Some people can prefer original, other can prefer x or y driver. That's why there are many variations of acoustic drivers out there..
About how it can improve the quality, I thought it's stated in the first post
Why not to try it yourself? I guess you have W910? Just upload wbxml and xml

It's ok, no need to sorry
Did you mean fastport to jack adapter from hpm-77? Hope the new one arrived soon
I just want to ask because I want to buy new headphone. Which one do you prefer: Koss Sportapro, Portapro, Senn PX-100, Grado SR-60i?
Or do you have another recommendation?
I prefer open design, since I only listen in my room. Does portapro has open design?
