Well at the link Masseur gave it appears to be 19.95 Euros? for that one and the one you have linked to is only free for now and limits connection to one device not up to 5 as when it is paid for is my understanding.
Hey, you know what, you're right about something. WMWifirouter has been turned into a pay application, I didn't know - I tried it out at Christmas when it was just a collection of hacks on a forum, I didn't realise it had gotten so advanced now.
All the same, it's still possible to Wifi share on a WM phone without any software at all, just by tweaking the registry. So no biggie.
If you don't say things yet again i haven't said then i wouldn't need to comment really simple that is.
This really baffles me. I have directly quoted you from posts you've made here, nothing more and nothing less. I haven't "lied", I haven't put words in your mouth, I haven't told anyone you've said anything you haven't, I've simply responded to your messages here, in the most direct way possible. Most people would call it a conversation, to you it's some kind of slanderous conspiracy. Odd.
How about some comparison pictures of the TyTN2 browser displaying the same pages then either PIE or Opera or both would be good. I really am curious as to how well they deliver as in my experience i never really liked Opera in any of it's versions and really am not a fan of PIE either as when i had my TyTN1 found it very lacking, curious to see if it's any better yet.
Well they've been posted, and I don't suppose they contain any surprises for you. I think we've established that QVGA devices like the Tytn 2 and P1 have less screen real estate than the E90. They do both render sites perfectly adequately though, or at least PIE does in my experience. It's due to get better in WM6.1, and then a lot better still when MS release an expected standalone IE update later in the year (which will supposedly give PIE a true "desktop" experience).

sorry not used to the nokia maps, but when my mate (n95 user who hates the device i might add, citing the camera being the big issue with the huge shutter lag even running the newest firmware at the time) showed me it, it took so long to start up and pinpointed a location i had lost interest.
I am running google maps just because i can rather than tehre being a need for it, and i know the way it works is not ideal, but it loaded much faster than the n95's maps and had a location (within a 500m distace ) within a few seconds.
To my eyes the N95 took over 30seconds to do any of this and it was still trying to find a location when i left, how does their system actually work? |

The new maps 2.0 starts up in about 2 seconds and gets a fix very quickly. Very large improvement on the one that came with the phone originally.
Why does the GPS need to be compatible with 3rd party apps when Nokia maps is already built in?
Just remember that Nokia software written for their phones is light years better than the half baked crap that SE put in theirs |

so how does it work then? Is it really a gps device within the n95 that fixes the location? And would you be able to use such a means for lets say driving a car? Or is nokia's maps a rival to google maps? A novelty in other words?
I had a go with Tom Tom on a P1, it was nice and all and i can see a use for it. But it is not for me at the moment, too costly for starters lol |

I would say something different,
contrary to S60 "defenders"
When SE will release more advanced, feature-packed UiQ touch devices (soon)
There will be no reason to look at S60 anymore.

Please tell us the tweak here. I am interested to do this.

Because it might block an opportunity for someone to make a useful program for the hardware - like.., a map to find the nearest pub? Or so you could import sea- charts, or whatever. I can imagine using gps- positioning to map a few entry points recommended by the local tourist- bureau, for example. What about getting a subscription- service for locally maintained maps, that would have detours mapped in? Wouldn't be possible with nokia maps, because of politics.

Hi Bonnig
You really are telling me you don't know and what you have said and that you have only quoted what i said.
Really that's strange because i can't see myself having said much of what you claim i have said is MO or facts and there totally wrong.
Maybe you can explain and show where i have said these things then? as all i said was.
It didn't take any persuasion at all and after trying an iPhone i couldn't wait to return to it as i just really can't stand Touch screen devices at all
Which then according to you means
You really are coming across as ridiculous now. I don't mind the Iphone hate, I'm no fan of it either, but to use it in your case against touch screens that you "can't stand" is just silly. The Iphone is singular in that it has none of those "inferior" traits you always use against touchscreens - the poor visisbilty etc. It's a solid glass screen, probably a lot better quality than anything on a Nokia, and yet you still "can't stand" it purely because it happens to be a touchscreen. I can almost see the froth from here.
Sorry but just where is this iPhone hate i have then? who even says i hate it?
As in this case where i haven't said anything like that anywhere maybe you should of read my two posts in the Esato iPhone Owners Thread here
http://www.esato.com/board/vi[....]c=156015&start=855#post2330708
As for the rest of your babbling nonsense i haven't said any of that either all i said was that
"I just really can't stand Touch screen devices at all"
Which doesn't mean their rubbish or that no one else should want to use one just that i don't. Is that a crime now or something.
I then further explain that for me
"and am sure that will include the Touch S60 UI when it arrives just in case you want to suggest it's just because Nokia don't have any yet."
Which you some how you manage to interpret as meaning
Good for you. Ruling out a new UI before anyone's seen anything of it at all - that's the mark of a truly irrational hatred, well done.
Again what hatred and i have seen plenty of the upcoming Touch S60 UI the point you seem unable to grasp is that FOR ME and MY USE i prefer a non Touch screen whether you agree or not is irrelevant.
But in no way does that mean that no one else can prefer like or use them that's their choice to make. The fact there is a price to be paid for having a Touch Screen doesn't mean there not usable or good but they are by definition not the best it's the technology and it doesn't mean i hate them either does it?
OK now could you please show me anywhere where i have said any of those ridiculous and stupid thing you claim you have only quoted me on? with this

As it appears you have done exactly all of those things you protest you are innocent of and that really is very ODD.

Marc, in all honesty, and without wishing to upset you further, I have to say that if you're really unable to understand how my comments correlate to what you've said in this thread, then perhaps you need to just take a step back and relax for a minute. I'm willing to bet that most people reading this thread can understand where this conversation has gone, and are probably as baffled by your accusations as I am. A quote is a quote is a quote, I can't turn that into anything that it's not, I can't make you say anything you haven't, I can only interpret it in whatever way it seems to mean to me and respond accordingly, which is exactly what I've done.
I'm not going to apologise for not reading up on everything else you've ever said about the Iphone ever, because frankly I couldn't care less what some random person on a forum somewhere has previously said about an item of consumer electronics, I'm only interested in the points being put to me here and now in the context of this thread.
If you're going to collapse into histrionics each time somebody takes you on your own word without checking with you first, then perhaps you shouldn't be posting on internet forums - or perhaps you need to express yourself better? Just a thought.

Hi Boinng,
Unfortunately for you every one can see exactly what has happened as it is very clear. When i drew your attention to the fact you were quoting me as saying things i clearly haven't and happy to tell me and others what my attitude and opinions are you came back with this which quite frankly is laughable in protesting your innocence of all wrong doing.
As you are happy to claim and say,
"This really baffles me. I have directly quoted you from posts you've made here, nothing more and nothing less. I haven't "lied", I haven't put words in your mouth, I haven't told anyone you've said anything you haven't, I've simply responded to your messages here, in the most direct way possible. As far from being baffled you have indeed NOT quoted me from my posts here or anywhere else for that matter.
You have lied constantly, You have put words in my mouth.
You most certainly have implied and told everyone i have said things i very clearly haven't, Haven't You and if not simply show me where i have said or implied any of these things then.
It is far from being a civilized conversation or exchange of Opinions and you seem to have a really serious problem with being able to understand simple statements and are reading far more into them then is said to suit your twisted motives.
No one says you have to agree with me or even like what i say but trying to make it appear i have opinions i don't and have said things i haven't isn't OK not by long way as quite simply they are unfounded and lies.
Despite your protests of innocence you are guilty of all you claim your not as proved by your inability to back up a single thing you claim i have said or is MO.
When i say something i stand by it but if i haven't i will not be credited with what is your very warped and unfounded conjecture.
I really don't know what your current problems are but you should take a serious look at the unfounded rubbish you have posted and can't show any justification for and clear yourself of the obvious hate that infests you before posting such rubbish again.
As if you don't make i out i have opinions i don't and have said things i haven't there is no longer a problem is there?
Marc

And, I think we'll leave it there. History (and this thread) will be my judge, I reckon, it's all here in black and white after all.
Marc, may I recommend use of the quote tags in future, they really do make everything a lot easier to follow - or at least I've thought so before. Apparently they may have missed the mark (or the marc) in this case. Ce la vie.
