You seem to forget that T68i is the T68 as it was launched back in was it March 2001. But nevermind. That's not the point.

Actually it was first shown sometime like july 2001, and "launched" august/september. Or something like that. T68i started selling like the day after it was first shown.

give nokia credit for being fast unlike ericsson. Altho i dnt plan to get a new fone yet, i wouldnt be surprised if my next fone would be a nokia. I just love their fast user interface

Nokia has like 60 000 people on their staff and phones are their biggest business.

SEMC has around 5000 people. Maybe you should give SEMC credit for;

1) Being the market leader (by forcing such trends as GPRS, bluetooth, cameras, color screens etc)
2) Products that are usually 6-12 months ahead of competition

But be sure to __CRITICISE__ for WORTHLESS MARKETING.

No, the Ericsson T68, announced with MMS support, was 'launched' on March 21st 2001.
Read the press release fully, and check the date.

http://www.ericsson.com/press/archive/2001Q1/20010321-0038.html

The T68 first appeared in stores late october, I bought the first 2 at cpw in Selfridges on Oxford st on October 27th, 2001.

The T68i, which is just the T68 as it was initally announced at CeBit 2001, was not in stores until April 2002, over a year after it was first announced.

I got tired of the slow menus on my t68i. I sold it and bought a 6510. I'm going to wait and see what the p800 can do or maybe even the 3650. Sure nice to have fast menus again.

It will just be a phone that you'll play with but not own it

If all of you guys looks closely on the shape of 3650, it will
resemble one of the CDMA phone reveal by Snoy Ericsson before Cebit....T206.

Like T206, 3650 have a peanut like shape.....well no matter how cool the design looks, it still shows tht Nokia starts to copy Sony Ericsson or Ericsson.

Even the loud speaker hole design look the same to those in T68 and T39 hahaha.

C'mon again guys! yes, T206 and 3650 have a similar shape factor. So what? Honestly, look more closely at the 3650. The shape is directed by its keypad and screen... Do you believe they could come up with this in just 6 month time???

And the loud speaker hole thing again. Look at the 6210!!! And check for instance 8210's keypad and T68's keypad. Please, be objective for once

T68 was unveiled at CeBit 2001, around March 2001. Again, the T68 the market was NOT the one launched at CeBit... And they pulled from their hat the "revolutionary" T68i 9 month later...

You mean people are actually considering to buy this horrid looking phone? Just be glad you're one of the 0.5% of the population that thinks this phone is great

at the end of the day the phone looks good feature wise and se have nothing to compete with it at the moment.

we will have to wait to see the T400 or T500 (just guessing dont get excited) or whatever se come up with but lets face it the t300 mca25 combo wont stand a chance against the 3650

the p800 is not a rival to either the 7650 or the 3650 lets get that clear

p800 to 9210 is more accurate
