This update could change bad opinions on this phone to very positive!
I have a nokiu 5800xm and I missed the good camera and easy themes editor of SE...I could switch to C905 if this update really makes it a fun mobile and most of all if they enhanced the Wifi reception,my 5800 is actually x2 stronger in wifi than my friend's C905(about 20 meters more of reception from a wifi antenna)

Anyone know if can use some sort of VoIP service such as TruPhone with the c905?
Also besides the updates anyone know if there gonna improve the wi fi reception?

The new firmware is R1DA032. My cda is hong kong (don't know the exact number though)

I just loaded the new firmware, my phone is unbraned.
R1DA032
it does NOT have
* WayFinder 8
* SMS/MMS conversation style (chat view)
Things I have noticed thus far is
* Smile Shutter
* Walk Mate in apps
* YouTube video client
* Built-in Snapfish service by HP
* Tracker app in Location Services
* during a call the right softkey is now Spkr On. rather then select sound source
Also it does NOT fix the earpiece problem, (didnt really think it would, but was hopeful) - so my phone will be off for repair nextweek
Needless to say, I am disappointed by this update.... basically nothing they promised is here...
*edit, Wayfinder 7 says its version 8.1.13, which version is on the old c905 firmware?

For me, I only don't have Wayfinder 8 and sms/mms conversation style.
As for Snapfish by HP, have you tried going to:
1) Media> Photos> Select any photo then Options> Order Prints
2) Menu> Organiser> File Manager> Cam Album or Pictures> Select one photo then Options> More> hp.semc.snapfish
Youtube client should be found in your Applications folder. |

Only 1 of the 3 things that I really wanted to see have made it through. I soo wanted to see that conversation style, still haven't got the update available.

old firmware wayfinder is version 7.2.8 so new wayfinder is out |
