I thought for sure Shiho was going to be the UIQ touchscreen Cyber-shot, but apparently it's going to be A200. I guess we won't know for sure until we see it.
If Shiho IS a UIQ phone, it will be serious competition for Paris for me. If it's A200, I'm getting Paris hands down.

If Shiho IS a UIQ phone, G900 will be greatly affected since it might be left in the dust IMO. Since G900 is pretty packed, but lacks the "Cybershot" name. Let's see what SE will surprise us with shall we?
AFAIK, G900 will have about $100 lower price tag than Shiho so each will have it's own market
but to take another important note, Shiho is NOT UIQ, its OSE A200, so that device Eldar talking about is another Cyber-Shot high-end, something like W960i in the Walkman series, just a UIQ high-end in the series |

Then they have to announce that one today
I don't think they come with something really exiting this time, though there might be someting nice out there |

Personnaly, I already expressed my feel that Shibo will be announced in mid year ( May, June ) rather than the next ann. as it will follow the K850i ann./release time frame... |

Same here. June seems more likely to me too. One of the more interesting ones to me.

Right-oh fellas and fella-ettes. Here's proof of at least one phone we'll see tomorrow:
Z780 = definite:

Those of you in the know will remember from the last few announcements that this is how the product page appears before the announcement, when the info hasn't been released yet.
Haven't found anymore yet but you're welcome to join me in searching!

shiho is due to be released November this year so May/June announcement seems more logical. |

Yes I think we will see, not just Z780i but also W780i aswell as KXX- Emilie, all in all, not much of a storm, more like a lowmid-wind, even if BeiBei will be announced it's still wont be a storm.
I have to say that I don't feel anything at all, before I just got my hopes upp for Paris/P5i every time, then I got a litte annoyed with all the low-mid end phones, now I don't get bothered at all, afterall all, we will probably still get some kind of announcement, which is better then none at all.
Current mobilephone: P1i and my now old K800i, and before that W800i, V800i, Z600i, and T310. Waiting for X10. |

To be honest, I believe we will only see one phone. The Z780i.
I still don't believe the W780i is a real phone. Rumours of that phone started when Vodafone released some info on upcoming phones and on it, it said W780i. But it was scheduled for release around the same time as the W980i. Anyone notice the similarity in name? I think it was a typo. I think Vodafone hit the '7' key instead of the '9'.

I have had information from two separate sources regarding the W780i and its release on Vodafone. This info is in the 1st post (latest updates).

To me it seems that less people then usual are exited, of course it's not much to be exited about, people are bored with the hype I think.

Ok maybe you're right. Maybe I missed something lol.
But if its Vodafone only, I doubt it will be announced tomorrow, as Vodafone handsets are usually announced by themselves aren't they? And not usually at events like this?

We should really reassess what definite info we actually have before getting so worked up into a lather.
Invitations to a press conference are usually a good sign, or a countdown to an online launch (like the MBW-150 site). Other than things like that there's little right now indicating to us of an impending announcement.

I would have hated it if Shiho was UIQ. Blah, smartphone.
All I want is a high-end feature phone. |
