Congrats again Tsepz.It truly is a wonderful phone.
@All
What's the highest temperature your phones have risen too.I had mine plugged into the charger and was playing Solo and Piano Perfect and the phone rose to 52 celsius.Just need to know from you guys what temperatures your phones have risen to just to see if it's a problem or not.It usually sits on 29 so it's almost doubled.Just need a consensus incase it's a kernel related issue and I need to flash another kernel.

The GS2 does get very warm at times. I think the phone is so thin but powerful that heat has to go somewhere!! I think it's generally a fixed issue in 2.3.5

Maybe I'm over reacting.I did have it charging at the same time as using those two apps.And the temperature does rise slightly while charging.That damn CPU Master widget is maybe making me a bit paranoid.Won't you guys installs that widget and let me know what temps you guys get.I know the phone gets warm sometimes.It would just be nice to have some kinda number /percentage in mind that is normal and an average for everyone for piece of mind sake.

Tsepz It really is a big leap from our trusty ol' X10's.Enjoy. If you do any tweaking let us know.We've always had a preference for different roms which is nice because it means I don't have to try it out before I use it.I can just take your word for it.

Will get that app and keep you updated. I did notice it heat up at the top (white area surrounding the Camera area) today, wasnt plugged in, i just found it odd it got warm there and ONLY there, as if the antenna is there, but thats at the bottom according to the manual, anyway, im happy overall.
Will surely let you know what mods i do when i do them and what ROMs, man this thing is just AWESOME!!

Most modern smart phones do get a bit warm. Dual core processors or whatever will make them warm. I never had any issues cos of it. Most smart phones I have had became warm with use it's nothing to worry about. Some phones have become so hot & shut down but it's solved with updates. @Tsepz_GP I doubt the antenna would get hot.

Indeed, my X10 used to get very hot when browsing via HSDPA for long periods.
Still got your GS2 Bono?

Nope. I thought I would stay with it but I am going to wait for what may bring out next year,or Sony Got the Xperia Play & N8 for now for camera!! I am happy enough. I have now a spare battery again the white back cover for GS2 & extended battery. The extended battery only makes the phone 1.5mm thicker. I no longer need it. Though I loved the GS2 in the end it was not quite as amazing as I had hoped.

As long as you're happy with your devices, i had a Play on the Play a while ago, lovely phone, played Crash Bandicoot, looked exactly like the PS version.
You still have my mail details right?

No I forgot them but it's my last give away & I guess it's best if someone has a white GS2 cos the white one might look odd on the black one The extended battery cost 24.99 but I have zero use for it now & it's no loss to me

Yeah well I managed to get a day & a bit out of the GS2 with heavy usage. I would last all day then it would still be going past midnight. Sammy did a decent job there considering all that power under the hood.

Indeed, its very frugal. They also did a great job with preinstalled apps, im overwhelmed by them, reminds me of how Nokias and SE Symbian smartphones were out-the-box in the N95/P1i days.
