Something more "like" Elm.

I just saw Amir's patch for the camera. Raider, Amir, fix one for the C901.

100% crop testing time!

Noise level with flash

All photos were taken on a stable surface to avoid camera shake

Auto

Full Size (click me)
DSC06282.jpg (1.7 MB)
ISO: 100
Shutter Speed: 1/125
Exposure Bias (EV): 0 step

Not very good details for ISO 100, not bad quality from a phone but bad quality compared to real cameras.

Auto + Manual ISO

Full Size (click me)
DSC06283.jpg (1.7 MB)
ISO: 100
Shutter Speed: 1/125
Exposure Bias (EV): 1 step

Same quality because camera automatically chose ISO 100 for the first photo

Manual ISO + Manual Shutter Speed

Full Size (click me)
DSC06285.jpg (1.4 MB)
ISO: 100
Shutter Speed: 1/6400
Exposure Bias (EV): 0.7 step

Very good quality, no loss of detail, no noise, much sharper, better colors and quality could easily rival high end compact cameras. It shows how raiderski has turned this camera into a serious imaging weapon with huge potential!

Thank you Raider!!

wow so great pics.. i wish im that talented using raider driver... but im really not.. i find it hard to use it without the ui like m3 camdriver for c901 wchich tells which mode im in... ive seen that these driver for k800i has a ui for this i hope that it will be release for c901 too... and also one thing i am the only one experiencing this bug..

when i press the zoom keys wth this driver sometimes the camera turns off.. only with this driver ...

Wow! It would be amazing to get interface like that on our phones... Hopefully someone will make it for C901 one day, better sooner than later

@macmigz
I don't get the problem of the camera quitting randomly, ive heard it mentioned in this thread before though.
Manual interface on the M3 driver is too slow for me, it looks good though

I was the one who experience the same problem with macmigs it automatically shuts down the camera when setting the manual controls.

i have tried your settings
ISO: 100
Shutter Speed: 1/6400
Exposure Bias (EV): 0.7 step

but my flash wont fire, why is that?

btw nice pics mriley

@macmigs
try this, delete first the camdriver in your phone before uploading the new cam driver. it works for me

@macmigz
To use manual focus in video mode go to EV +2.0
Autofocus is step 1, the rest is manual.

@mhyke
If the flash wont fire my guess is that you have the flash setting on auto. Set it to red eye reduction instead to force the flash

Nice pictures, good camdriver, but where is ISO 50 ???

It's not really needed in supermode because when the camera has the chance to use it, it always does (all daylight pictures are ISO 50)

@macmigz
Np, I'm happy to help Nice pics btw
