Yes but will the build quality be any better on the newer releases of the phone?

g800 suck :/ My friend bought it yestarday and i don`t think that is good idea to change k850i for that something like g800 ... We tried do a lot of similar photos in the same time ... sharpness of g800 is worst than k850 ! every photo from g800 was awful and i`m serious ... not just saing that k850 is the besto and so on ... This is my advice do not change k850 to g800

we cant guarantee you that, but I personally am 100 percent sure it will!
as you can see, the quality already got better a little bit, faster media play, better camera options, we can only wait for the ''big'' updates!

my concern is though what if the build quality is no better than the first ones released? Has anything changed from the first released ones compared to the newer ones.

2008 SE invented the first auto-destructive FW coded 031 known also by blue ring of death!
Oh yeah SE is innovative!
And the the best part is that you have to pay if you don't have a warranty for an obvious ''virus'' they built themself

Blue Ring Of Death, dusty lens cover, cracked D-pad/navigation.
Thank you, Sony Ericsson for such a 'wonderful' expensive phone.

That's why no one awarded K850i best handset, best cameraphone or else?

OK, I have now contacted the servies and they say that I should be able to get the new FW. So I think the only way I can solve this is by Posting all my numbers from service info>software info, and you guys telling me whats wrong. I have a totally unlocked phone, but it has been branded by O2.
Here it goes:

You phone is the same as mine ( bar the version, I'm 031) and you should be able to upgrade. Try reinstalling SEUS.

small update Im loving this phone.

Im using the American model unlocked version it just shipped out this week.

I just got it this morning and its running very very smooth no lock up no resets etc. Im really loving it. about 10hrs of use.

it was preinstalled with the latest 31 firmware version.

installed some apps, themes browsed the internet, mobile opera is awsome.

only one thing OMG is gets smudgy fast. but other than that its an awsome phone.

working well with Tmobile US edge only network. shame US is so behind with the Highspeed networks.

I cant put it down.

Not meaning to go on but need ppls advice before 2pm as have to give t-mobile a decision then:

UPDATE

have spoke to t-mobile tonight and they have agreed to change the handset rather than me go messing around with sendin back to SE.

They have offered to change the handset to a Samsung G800 which seems to have similar features, i dont want the n95 as i think camera is weak etc.

bearing in mind i have had this k850 since it came out and was one of the first to get it if i get them to replace it for a new k850 does anyone know if the build quality or components have changed from the one i have now? is the dust problem still evident on the latest ones?

What should i do? Exchange for a new K850i or a completly different Phone?

If so what phone would you reccomend, camera quality is most important factor.
