According to International Air Travel Rules, operating a mobile or any other electronic appliance onboard a plane interferes with the communication and navigation system of the aircraft (normally when flying). So it's been PROHIBITED. That's when FLIGHT MODE comes in. It doesn't able you to make calls while in the plane but it certainly does let you use the WALKMAN or the CAM (doesn't work on some F/W, like mine). Hope that answers your query.

Here are some shots with the new driver 2.7 w/SPOT.
ALL the images have been shot under normal settings(Macro-OFF, NightMode-OFF, White Balance-AUTO, Exposure-0), except for the mouse pic where I used macro)
The spot brightness seems to have burned all the bright spot in the pic except for the area in focus.
This one's over-exposed. My desk is white. So the brightness kinda grew inwards towards the keyboard.
This one looks better than the one above coz the white desk background is not in the frame.
This area under the desk is dark and shaded. But the driver somehow made it a bit more visible. Should be ideal for nightshot. Can't wait to try.
This one has come out good. If you look closely, the brightness from the desk is burning the edges of the mouse. You know wot...we can use this driver for one of those dreamy images using a WHITE screen in the background just like those X-Files stuff with bright lights.

Here's another MACRO shot of my new Casio G-Shock in NORMAL SETTINGS. A bit grainy though.
*I chose this particular Color coz it matches my w800i

Trust me, I had asked the same question and still haven't got a clear reply to that. The best thing would be to flow along with the new experiments and tweaks. At least that's what I've been doing. There is no driver with a 10/10 on all SETTINGS. Some deliver Sharp images but exposure is off the limit. While some deliver controlled exposure but the pictures look grainy. It's all upto the user, what he's lookin for in a driver. But we're ever so THANKFUL to our experts who've spent countless hours experimenting on the driver.
By the way, I started off with this link (much easier) : http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=125323

@Born_dead
do you experience instability with these drivers...
well i do.. once my cam is good... took a few shots... and twas good enuff... closed the shutter... then when i tried taking pix again...
open the shutter, lag lag lag... then points me back to my standby screen... is this a firmware related conflict with the driver? ive been experiencing these dilemmas with R1A044, the modded onces... and of course these recent drivers came from R1A044 too. of course with some modifications.
tho ive never had it with HYBRIDS. 2.4 and the rest.
hhmm strange...

I tried it just now...but nothing of that sort happened...i opened the shutter, took 3 pics in succession, closed the shutter., opened the shutter again, took 2 pics. NOTHING.
In fact, i just discovered somthing. This whole time i have been pressing the MORE option after a shot has been saved to click a new pic (PREVIEW AFTER EACH SHOOT). But when I press the CAM BUTTON, it automatically switched to the CAM mode.

and i can see that your on R1BC... im on R1CA.
maybe thats the kicker.... its a firmware related issue... even max_wedge is on R1BC and hes usin W800.... hope i can find similar phone specs as mine and compare results...
much thanks dude!
