personnaly, I don't think so, a face-lift wont have a screen smaller than the original one, C902 have 2.0 and K850i has 2.2 screen.
I may ignore the Xenon flash as mentioned that the LED flash in C902 are special and strong and give much better brightness for power, + they can be run for long time ( like when recording video )

It maybe a good phone to fill the market in this time, but it's not the K850i face-lift

BTW, what do you think with ( follower ) as replacement for ( face-lift )

I wonder if people would still call C902 a facelift to the K850 if it had 3.2MPix cam. It definitely is not. I think SE facelifts a phone only if it's very successful on the market and / or quite ahead of the competition featurewise, wich proves that the facelift would sell good as well.

A k850 facelift would have to incorporate all the exisiting specs of the K850. c902 is not a K850 facelift. Its just an alternative 5mp cam phone.

Thats what I'm talking about, C902 is just another option for 5MP CS Phone as it has lower spec. than K850i...

I think I agree with what RandomCarpet said as face-lifts are made only for high successful mobiles only, and that strategy started after K800i as K810i, K850i didn't have that much success comparing to K800i + was on 2007 year with focus on low end handsets rather than high-end...

If there ever were a K850i facelift, it's surely been axed by now.

As for announcements, I think the 31st is the date, or at least sometime during the first week of April. Maybe.

I wonder what we'd call it if it were named K860i
the way I see it is if a customer asks a representative what the top cyberchot model is (when it starts selling ofcourse) they'd say the c902- it has the new photo flash, which "is as bright as xenon" but can also be used while taking videos and with bestpic. It also has face recognition and dedicated shortcuts.
It's "beter", thiner, more expensive
I'm not saying it's techically a facelift-but it will work as one till we see something new and beter form the cyberhot range.

Something about P-Next from Mobile-Revies's G700 review( Translated from google):

"After all, and worth waiting to buy the next flagship of the company, which will continue to vary the best quality materials (metal), a better camera and sound, a richer bundling (desktop glass memory card)."

the metal x1 isn't called the t1-so I doubt the P5 would get the T either.
but it's good this high-quality material trend is moving to other se ranges.

Theyll translate it all and add it to the english version of the site soon enough. Although I am expectant of SE to bring something new at CTIA, I cant help but think that it will be low end for the time being. I sure hope this isnt the case though.
