paul-d - I've just had the Exact same problem. I was actually using my phone (031 firmware) trying to get directions using google map and then it just stopped responding. All I could see was that the keyboard was lit up and nothing else. After I left it like that for a few minutes I tried pushing some buttons but nothing would make it do anything so I had to pull the battery out. After leaving it with no battery for a a bit I put the battery in and tried to start it up - all I get now is the keypad is lit up and the Blue Ring of death.... SEUS won't update it because after staying at 0% for a minute it errors out My problem is that I bought the phone online with no contract so I have no provider to call for support I really REALLY wish SE would release a more reliable phone! This is absolutely absurd.

Tervel I've just had the exact same problem. I was on a call when the phone just died, vibrated and then the keypad at the "Blue Ring of Death" was lit up. Doesn't matter what you do with the phone, it just stays like that. Turning the on/off button does nothing. Only way to get the phone to turn off is to take the battery out. I'm back to using my old reliable k800 now, which is annoying. I've been using the latest -031 firmware and up until this point haven't had any issues whatsoever (not even any restarting... nothing, except for the general slowness of the phone and the poor implimentation of Bluetooth audio), then today I had two unusual restarts before this complete failture. I'm having the same problems re: SEUS. Did you end up finding a solution?

This was on the phone that took a plunge into water though, not the new one(was the first week it was out, not sure of the revision)....the new one has run flawless with the latest firmware.Someone else mentioned the time stamp that used to be in the pictures, since I have had mine that hasnt been in the K850i unbranded software which was a feature I liked on the k800i.

Just saw the red led under the power button on my old K850i, but in my case this amounted to a bad battery as I switched it out and on came the phone.

is there no new firmware coming for the K850i??

The c902 firmware is great. You can change how you view your menu just like a modded w810

C902 has no Xenon Flash. That's so bad. IMHO.

Much worse from what I read. Some java apps would work just after loading, some not at all from what I read.

Just thought I'd let you know, my problem appears to have solved on it's own.

I have tried to update with KKclient.
Now i have R1CA037 the phone is bought from Hongkong and now it is working with swedish language without any problem.
I have tried the R1EA031 but it says "CID mismatch" what is this? How can i change it?

I have CID 52 but FW is CID 110 instead.

A friend did an update on SEUS, from CA027 to EA031 but the phone did not start again after this, it came only a sound and the numbers lightened up for a little while then it is completly dead. Anybody knows why?

No one knows why, not even SE apparently. This seems to be a common problem with the new FW. Either send it in or if the phone is no longer under warranty, go to Davinci (you can use other clients to flash, I just like Davinci and there has been positive experiences with it on this thread) and tell your friend to flash it with 037 or 038 until a new FW comes out.

I have a few questions if anyone can help out...

Does anyone else's accelerometer's switch numbers when you lay it down on a flat surface? To go to service menu press >,*,<,<,*,<* Service tests>accelerometer

And anyone know what would happen if we flash with c902 FW?
If it doesn't work, will it mess up my phone for good or would I be able to flash it back to our native FW? I want to give this a try...

Edit:Scratch the 2nd question as the fw hasn't come out. But theoretically, would it be possible like the k800 to k810 conversions?
