Hi guys,my first post.Just wanted to agree with Jolitorax about the HCB700.I bought this car kit to replace my Parrot 3100,brilliant with the K800I but just bog standard with the P990I.Should have checked the compatibility list but I naively thought that this would refer to other makes of phone,and as Jolitorax said,the flagship phone would use all the feature of the flagship carkit.Only Sony Ericsson eh! |

I have checked the compatibility list... It states that the HCB700 won't provide phonebook with P800, P900, P910 and M600. Says nothing about P990, but I'm afraid that's only because SE haven't put it there yet. Why they can't make a Symbian phone exchange phonebook with the HCB700 I don't know. |

Went into an o2 shop yesterday and the rep had no idea about the p990 and showed me a brochure, had w950 but no p990...
Just spoken to o2 select, P990 now on release on 18th Sept.....  |

I've just had a play with a friend's unlocked P990 and first impressions are definitely good. Hurry up and release it, Orange! |

My UK spec P990 has finally arrived here in Ireland !! YESSS!! 
just need to charge the baby up and no-one will see me for days!
Will post FW version numbers etc tomorrow

Today it got launched with bill for 35k INR !! well the price was expected 35k INR only and yes its out today morning.. everybody has the stocks with bill !!
The sale is good because day before yesterday in front of me 3 p990i WITHOUT BILL got sold so now u can imagine with bill wat it will be !!

Soon i'll be gettin my p990i infact very soon.. and i'll let you know hows the UI and software acting with me..i hope its fast or eles have to wait for a update service...well lets not talk negative...!!

Just got off the phone with Orange, seems like they're still sticking by the vague 'September' release date. Only good news was that as soon as it comes in the girl will text me. My P900 won't be switched off till that text arrives! |
