Nähä du nu har du allt sett fel  Nope i don't have that in my -31 firmware. Haven't heard of anybody else that have that issue either.

au contraire I also don't have that left arrow in my camera menu. I couldn't skip to settings and I have to go right just to remove my stabilizer or somethng. The left arrow only appears when I'm at the middle of the menu |

So at first I loaded a generic western europe R1DA038 and it worked fantastic. Then I read that the new R1EA031 firmware is out and so I thought I'd use SEUS to update it. Well this didn't work as SEUS said that my phone already had the latest version on it.
I then read on another forum that SEUS will update it only if it is R1DA037 - so using my second flash credit I downgraded to a generic western europe R1DA037. I then re-tried to use SEUS and it worked but then WTF!!!, IT SAYS TELSTRA R1DA038 is the next available update?!?!?! How the hell did it decide that the GENERIC western europe firmware should be replaced with the poxy TELSTRA firmware again?? I just paid 8euro to DE-brand it! I'm certainly not going to let it be RE-branded from SEUS.
So I used my last remaining credit to re-flash back to the generic western europe R1DA038 and have left it at that for the moment.
My conclusion - There is something in the hardware that allows SEUS to detect that it is a Telstra phone and will always try to restore the Telstra firmware.
Anyone else had this problem? Any other Telstra K850's able to update to R1EA031?
After debranding, you should also change your CDA (this costs also 1 of 3 credits - and Davinci makes it automatically). CDA is a 8 digit signature that tells SEUS which firmware (country and operator) to download. So if you changed your FW and kept the old CDA SEUS is still thinking that phone is branded.
Thankyou for your help. So where would I find the CDA codes - Is there a list of them somewhere?
I think your CDA should be 1201-9794. That's for CUSTOMIZED UK/ BLUE WESTERN-EUROPE but I'm not 100% sure, please somebody confirm that. Good luck

Merde. Since plankgatan said "you can only go right" i thought that he meant that you couldn't ga back in the left direction. Anyhow yes i can't skip to the left either. |

i've the same issue in -031. Moving allowed from left to right only (in Camera Options(settings)). But it only means that you can't go left from the first option "Shoot mode" to the last one "Settings" or you can't go from "Settings" to the Shoot mode. |

Ohh now i got it you mean cycling between the options like a loop.I never noticed that with the old firm.

Same here,also i doesn't have the title/artist bar bug,which in some phones with new FW his not visible when the music track is changing and music player is minimized.Only one restart and multimedia backgorund dissapears in my phone.

I have found that leaving the phone switched off helps to avoid the rebooting problem.

My phone crashed again last night. Now it won't boot up. When I plug in the power cable keyboard lights up as well as the "blue ring of death" and the red battery indicator light on the power button. I'm attempting to charge it now so that I can reflash the firmware.
Anyway before this I was having a fair number of random reboots with R1EA031 firmware, so if you are experiencing this, you might consider doing a Master Reset and reflash before you end up in my boat. |

I have found that if I go into the Bluetooth menu and select Powersave and turn that to ON, even though I very rarely have bluetooth on anyway, and keep the network on GSM only then I get 3 to 4 days battery life on 038. The Powersave mode in the bluetooth menu was set to OFF before. |
