Looks like Im right Sony just released 5III Sim-free in Japan (XQ-BQ42;PM-1365-BV). Now only one unreleased 1III model left (PM-1347-BV). What could it be? |

If most sales are Japan and Taiwan, why does China get phone first?
I bet sony plans to do it again.
Have u seen number of devices sold since april? Only revenue is being published lately.

Is sony really going samsung and make larger model way better compared to smaller?
They should be equal, just different size/screen like Z5 series. |

I've always got my Xperia phones new off eBay because the shop prices are way too high. Now that Xperia phones are even rarer in the UK, it's getting harder to justify buying from Sony anymore. I'll be changing my 5ii this year, looking at the Pixel 6 and S22 which are much better value. Also, android 12 is so whack on Xperia, at least Samsung UI has lots of customisation to make it look fresh with the status bar icon colours. Also, do people find that call reception on all Xperia is poor? |

I think the PRO-i will be the best camera phone we will see from Sony for a while to come. I'm just waiting until it becomes slightly more affordable.

Just saw sumahodigest has it. Also, fishing 8 has posted while ago full specs of the exmor. Looks like it has same 10ms of 557.
The weibo post says Bayer CFA, sumahodigest translated wrong (to quadbayer).

The sensor details cant be confirmed right now as they didnt select the final choices yet But all the candidates are very good looking Thats why I dont talk much despite knowing exactly what they use, and potentially messing up the choice process (Sony "peoples" do visits this forum)
Yes, the sensors will be shared with Apple, either derived from or outright the same sensor. But the lens element and tuning will ensure both are not stepping into each other shoes

wait, does it mean sony is still in process of "choosing" sensor(s)? If so, I don't think it will be released by summer. |
