so its strange :/ Because i had a 037 aswell ... and have that landscape bug :/ Would be great if somebody with those bugs ... would flash their phone with EMMA to the newest FW and tell us if those bug are still there ... Maybe SEUS make something wrong here until Update ... |

Hello everybody!
I updated to the newest firmware 031 on the first day it was released on SEUS. Yesterday my phone stopped working. I get the same blue ring of death (black screen, blue light at the cam, no response at all) that some others talked about earlier. Ainīt that great!?! Weīve been waiting for this firmware for months and now it fu**s up my phone completely! Good work SE. Itīs in for repair now, hope it wont take too long.
Is there any information yet if the "new" version of the new firmware is more stable? Has anyone upgraded after the weekend and then experienced the blue ring of death or random reboots? |

tazzmanx there is no new FW ... i`m sure thay told about that i wrote earlier ... We already have that fixed version ... Because it was released on SEUS on friday ... but there was one more soft week earlier on EMMA and it was a different FW with the same name ... but it hasnt got vibra touch buttons etc. ... ANYWAY ... i just reinstall SEUS downloded FW one more time and update my phone again ... and nothing has changed ... :/

Did you tried to update it after a master reset and taking off the memory card? perhaps some bad files somewhere are not allowing the FW to update perfectly

yes i did master reset and took off the Memory card ... Anyway i wanted to know if EMMA helps poeople with those bugs :/ but i haven`t got acces to it :/ The strangest thing is that some of you haven`t got those bugs and some have them :/

I took out my memory card, but I didnīt do a master reset before or after the update. I updated from 037 btw.
As far as I understand, all of us who have updated to R1EA031 risk getting the blue ring of death eventually, right? I dont trust this new firmware at all. But hey, I didnīt trust the previous ones either 
The bad thing is, my k850i is in for repair, and I will probably get it back with the newest firmware installed. Hope it will last a little longer next time. |

In generic Sony Ericsson phones, the Mobile TV application is disabled. When customizing phones for an
operator, the Mobile TV application can be enabled, URLs to OPML files configured, and OPML/RSS
update interval specified.
Who knows which Branded firmware does support mobile tv? |

all the bugs listed i didn't encounter....mine is K850i singapore set....

maybe i'm the one in the million....to be lucky....but i do encounter some hang sometimes....when scrolling thru media,ard 5secs....

My phone is 07W48 build (last week of Nov. 07) Just find it hard to believe that some phones have the led and some don't. |

Only a very few got the k850 dead after the upgrade don't try to panic everybody!! It's the same people complaining of bugs who post tons of posts here,so it gives you the feeling that they are numerous

One solution is to simply remove the glass. I did and now i don't have to be worried about dust or smudges. You probably will void your. Warranty. The lens glass is kind of taped on the camera. I believe it's easy to just put it back if you a careful with the tape surrounding the lens glas. There is a guide somewhere how to open the phone. I remember that the top "lock" i the casing was a bit tricky.
