I find it hard to believe myself but according the guy showing the new models (C902, G900 etc etc) at the Kensington shop, there is a new firmware out next week. My guess is that it's probably a network's firmware. Probably for '3'.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

On ALL the firmwares I've had a batterly life of about 3-4 days(heavy texting and occasional media player usage)
I'm now using the latest firmware, and the battery life didn't get worse!
I think my battery has taken a hit with the new firmware for one simple reason; I've been playing around with the phone like it's brand new!
I've been using the media player more, trying different video clips, using the web browser, taking pictures and so on.. all things that drain power!
When the novelty wears off, I think it will go back to normal!

When you noticed this red diode, are you associating its shining with something?

so far i see it in k700, k750, w800, w600, k800...so i think k850 should have it too
the red led will start blinking when ur batt life is at 10% during the 1st warning for low batt

Debrand with Davinci (8 pounds) and then SEUS update. When debranding, use something that is Generic (I used West Europe) and then updated without any problems!

Well heres the laugh of the day for me and everyone else i have told, went to work yesterday, and had to make an emergency run to the bathroom, was pullin up pants and guess what, phone came outta my holster and hit a bullseye right in the toilet. I went nuts...lol... anyway it sucked big time....went and got a new one, the old one still powers one now but no speaker, both flashed to current firmware through SEUS which I wasnt able to do before for some strange reason. Anyway will report any weird things I see with this one..

Well I'm having a major problem with the new firmware. I updated the other day and everything was fine until this morning. My phone randomly rebooted and then it was stuck on the loading screen. I hit the end button and the phone started up. However, I am unable to access my phonebook or my messages at all. I cannot even receive messages. Any help? |

give this a try: remove the bat for 30 secs then master reset |

- Improved sound quality & volume from Media Player.
- Improved transition effects in the photo viewer.
- Photo Fix option now available in photo viewer.
- Faster bootup sequence compared to previous firmwares (25 seconds rather than 35)
- Key response menu added in Settings -> Sounds & alerts, allowing the selection of sound or vibrate when pressing the touch sensitive buttons.
All those things were in my FW 029. :S |

I dont understand what the problem is, if it gets stuck on the loading screen when booting up, how can you perform a master reset? Describe your problem in more detail. |
