hi there, friends from singapore. i just want to ask if you have any confirmation about the upgrade from sonyericsson singapore. sonyericsson philippines was telling us that the firmware is already in singapore and they are waiting for singapore to give the "go signal" for the philippines to make it available. |

Yes arnoldc, the sw indeed is in Singapore now. SE Singapore is personally doing the testing. As SESC have not received the sw from SE so they could not do the upgrading. SE had already tentatively scheduled to release the sw around end of May. Again this is subject to if nothing goes wrong on the sw testing.

Called up SESC goldhill yesterday... all I got was to check back with them end of May... So maybe let's give the people at SESC a break yah? I strongly believe they already have the SW and they are testing it. So X our fingers and wait...

Just came back from SESC. They said probably still around end May.
The sw is being confirmed compatible with T68i. No point of calling them from now to end of May. The answer will be still the same. So,
as what madhero said, wait till end of the month than we give them a call. However they promised to give me a call if the sw has been released earlier than end May.

No I don't think can le cause I read this http://www.esato.com/help/faq.php#drscable and they did say that you can't di it by yourself as you need ericsson to do it for you... don't know why but I am looking forward to doing it myself as its just SW not HW... How hard can it get to install... |

clody>- Are you talking about the cable that able to synchronise the data from handphone to pc and from pc to handphone? If this is the one, that means it can also download sw into the T68. But you must
download the sw first into your pc from either T39 CD rom or SE website first before you can do the downloading of info between the 2 hardwares.

Guys,
this is my first time posting here, but I think I gotta let every Singaporean T68M owners know about this:
SONY ERICSSON SC AT KALLANG CALLED ME TODAY AT 4:20 PM CONFIRMING MMS FIRMWARE UPGRADE TO BE AVAILABLE FROM NEXT WED (29 MAY 02) ONWARD!!!!!!
This is no bullshit, you can call them up tomorrow and look for Eve (I think that's what she told me) to confirm!!!!!!
However, the catch is: we have to pay SGD15.00 for the upgrade, but it comes with a CD (the same one T68i owners is having now) and a T68i user manual.
I LOVE MY T68M....................
Cheers |
